Depending on how many shares they own......you can reject it and only after 90% then it is a different story, I believe

Are all small shareholders like us obligated to accept  price offerred by  buyer since the buyer of the 51% stake is compelled by law to buy up all remaining shares?  Smiley 45

Then stx osv will fall to the share price brfore it announce the sale of stake minus away 10 cents dividend and considering the europe problem is coming back....

What if  STX Group cancels the sale if falling price is unfavorable? Otherwise, we are all screwed if they unload their 51% at any price.

With this kind of situation, will any bidders still want to bid and/or buy the stake at a high price???

I entered at 1.75 (near to the peak), since then this counter went down, I wonder I can hold for how long =(

Imagine in Oct 2010 drop close to 79cts from high of $1.55..after they sold bulk at $1.33 bt STX Europe..now drop from high $1.80 to $1.52 low many got upset..this counter if hold richly rewarded..dividend got twice liao..previously I sold off $1.45-$1.55  after STX sale pushed up the share price and was lucky to buy back from $1.08- _$1.20 and now prepared for the long haul...

I am having cold sweat. No choice but to hold my baby like littleboi. Maybe I may have to put it in the fridge. If price still won't come back, I will stick it in the freezer. Smiley 398

Do you believe there is a level playing field? A stock can be fundamentally sound with all the praise from analyst. Suddenly there is heavy dumping and we guys believe it is a buying opportunity. As it drop some more you will feel the cold sweat! Do you believe there is no insiders? Classic example is one particular commodity stock. How can a fundamentally sound stock varies by so much in such a short time? There is no rationale in the stock market!

1. Boost company image. If money not invested productively, better pacify the shareholders. Maybe they know future not that good!

2. Ang pow for the big stake holders better than giving bonus issue and retain as shareholders fund.

3. Trap the greedy and those who only think about fundamentals. Share price normally factor in the dividends at peak. They will sell and buy back at lower prices, still better than taking dividend.

4. Shortist also will be happy!

stx osv is good if you get it at 1 -1.20 range....at current price, it had priced in the sale of the stake at a higher price than current price......it is too risky to buy or hold at this price and it is not worth the risk...

Wonder the reason for such a high dividend? Can anyone enlighten???
