if you didn't cover it back on the same day, then naked short... sgx will buy in for you t+3.. on settlement date, at a few bids (3 or more, not exactly sure) above the trading price. So basically, you will not know at what price sgx will buy back for you. In this case, the only thing Nicky can do is to pray hard that market/counter takes a huge tumber on that day.. ha ha... resident shortist knows that very well.. should actually leave it to him to answer. how does naked short calculation? if u didn't buy that on the same day, how they judge the price for naked short? care to share? never do that before. well, price now only 4.42. i am on the queue to collect at 3.32, ha ha...

Would really like to met u in person......your trading technique's a little radical. Short sell 2 lots seems quite a small amt. wont earn much but risk very high!! But funnily...you seem to like to short counters. Have not heard u buying to keep. And u seems to be able to laugh off your losses quite readily. Must talk to you and understand your investment philosophy. Maybe u shd attend subsequent SJ meetings so we can meet. I attended the last meeting and quite a few of us forumers would like to meet u.
