Sometimes, traders with fake trading activities form a progressively depressed lower price level! So must be keep buying queue to prevent it!

If you look at the trading queue, it doesn't take much to move the price up or down.
Not much sellers in the queue.

Sapphire has stakes in VTM, etc which are marked to market ---- means if the stock price of VTM goes down, the net profit of Sapphire will be dragged down.
This is just an accounting thingy, no cash flow impact. But many investors are not always smart about such things, and they sell or induce others to sell.

Sapphire is a Singapore owned & run company but its operating assets are in China where it holds partial stakes.
Sapphire could be mistaken as a S-Chip and that is why its stock price has been drifting down. The best is still a long way off, if you read this NextInsight report:
