Anyway, this show is only for those who are

really serious about the whole thingy.

It is not the original exciting movie.

Definitely not for ordinary cinema goers...  Smiley

Jao an, ni hao... bonjour... :)

Believe it or not, many people think that just

because they are holding a stock, they are not

in the market. But the fact is that by the very act

of holding a stock, they are betting on it to rise.

Even when it goes down a lot, they still hold

and bet it will rise sooner or later...

Thus, from this perspective, all is betting... Smiley

JO SAN ipman sifu...

i think a more suitable word would be " I am almost sidelined" ?

haha

How can one be considered to be sidelining

when one has a position in the market,

and a 'full-force bet' at that.

It doesn't make sense at all...

If I am sidelining, I will

                        have no open position... Smiley

Yes Gaecia. Me too will be sidelined for Aug...in fact right now I am already sidelined except for my full force bet on SGX. Good luck to you on monday.

Yea Muifan, Dow had a great showing last night  just in time for  Independence's Day celebration.  Everything's perfectly  in  place.

When you all take your earnings this time  round we  shall have a get together for real soon. No more excuses for not winning folks.  Come Aug i  will be taking a break from trading to avoid lunchtime whipsaws  which can be potentially setup to hit stop orders under thin trading volume. Just an added risk feature  in my opinion.

Already with  SGX's change in bid/ spread system effect July  applying to most midcap component stocks under $2 (from 1cent reduced to 0.5cent), I'm thinking  of observing action  for the time being. Let's say for Gsp and Noble to climb 5cents intraday,  which previously takes  5 bids  but come  Monday  it will  need 10 bids to achieve  the same  increment or will it  ding dong just 5 bids for 2.5cents?  I wonder if  our market is dynamic enough for  this  lame change.

It is Day 5 of vertical rally in the US. Come Monday i must keep my nerves in check at opening & think straight.

big or small is subjective.....

some people win $1,000 is making  big  but others will only consider winning $100,000 as making big :p

Lol... ec, you're really gd! I didn't  even remember to check last year's chart.

Now that you'd mentioned,  I looked up the calendar. The rally took place btw  5-9th July then  (4 July was a Sunday last year). Okay so the vertical rally last year took 5 days, cool
