Correction in a bull market is a chance to buy cheap.

Not something to be feared.

I might be shopping again today.

Wilmar gets Australian OK for $1.5 bln Sucrogen buy 09 Nov 2010 04:34

(Repeats story first published Nov 8)

SINGAPORE, Nov 8 (Reuters) - Singapore's Wilmar International <WLIL.SI>, the world's largest palm oil firm, said on Monday that Australia's Foreign Investment Review Board has approved its $1.5 billion purchase of Sucrogen from CSR Ltd <CSR.AX>.

Australian Treasurer Wayne Swan announced the approval of the deal, it said in a disclosure to the Singapore Stock Exchange.

The transaction remains subject to approval from New Zealand's Overseas Investment Office, Wilmar said.

Wilmar said in a separate announcement that it has increased a planned syndicated term loan facility to $1.3 billion from $1.1 billion to partly accomodate over-subscription by banks. The loan is to help fund the Sucrogen purchase.

Sucrogen is the world's second largest exporter of raw sugar and Australia's top maker of sugar-based ethanol.

you have got balls! daring to buy on based on hearsay by others. and somemore wack so heavily. but your gamble paid off. congrats.

i was not as gutsy as you to enter based on others opinion. as i got burnt cause i took someone else's words before. when i started off, i played ipo and blue chips, someone introduced me to penny stocks, and sadly upon taking up his words, i lost 80% of my capital.

which is why i dont really buy cause someone in this forum tells me to buy. even for BT opinion, i will access the situation carefully before entering. sure i will whine if i miss the boat, but if i were to lose money cause i blindly follow others again, then i will have not learned my last lesson.
