LoL epliew,
We should meet for lunch one day and discuss why it is better to manage one's money on your own.
Most fund managers actually lose money for their clients than make money.
But thanks anyway for giving me that honour and trust.
I really appreciate it

yes, i have been asking him to do that, create a company or join a company as remiser..... we will make him the next peter lim....
hope he does not divorce his current wife and married a mediacorp actress....
Bullish tempo, what say you ?

Yes, nobody can be right 10 out of 10. Not even Warren Buffett. But if a trader can be right 6 to 7 out of 10. He is already a good trader. As long as the 6 or 7 profitable trades more than outweighs the losses on the other 3 to 4 trades. Which is why cutting loss early on losing trades is so important. Cut loss early, so you can use the capital on a winning trade. So the principle is simple. Your winning trades to losing trades ratio should be between 6 : 4 to 7 : 3 If you can improve it to 8 : 2 or 9 : 1 You are a Pro Trader. |

Hey guys, ive been following this thread for awhile and i would like to say a few words.
Firstly, i noticed that many of you guys are overly reliant on BT. every report, every action, every stock, you turn to BT for advice. then what for you trade? might as well start a fund, everyone put money inside and let BT be the fund manager?
an advice is an advice, don't take it too seriously, they are not prophecies. if BT could forsee the future, we would all be millionaiires. instead, use his advice as part of your research, learn to fish and not ask someone else to fish for you. I am sure BT have his uncertainties, risks appetite, strategies and so on, so he can't tell you for sure whether a stock is "good", or will it rise or fall tomorrow etc. What happens if he tells you a stock is good, you bought and it falls big time, are you going to blame him?
i would only say, do your own research. don't expect anyone else to help you, nobody is your friend in the stock market, the market and yourself is your only friend. |

What counter it is is not important to me at all...
It can be a 'cats and dogs' counter...
As long as the stock's chart look promising for a trade, I enter...

It was a calculated risk that paid off.
I too made some money out of it.
But it was still a risk when you pressed the "buy" button.
Hope you guys understand the meaning of managing risks.
I am also taking risks.

hello! i'm back to catch last 15mins action. AK saw your afternoon posting, hmm all things will come together correction in a bull market is relatively short that's when d stock regears for a longer run. You once mentioned that it is possible for the BBs to stir shit (haha your words not mine ya) at the last leg to earnings run up. It came true and i thought it was frm ur experience and within expectation somewat.
Gee...wat a scary day this is, woke up slightly past 9 to find all my stops hit for olam and gsp. I reckon really bought back gsp too hastily thinking it was mkt opening drama, that ensued the whole day. So well can't load up on olam now frm its action today, let's get over with Gar tmr see how to fight the battle.
tomato, apart frm gsp did u go shopping on other counters? i nd some morale boost Lol |
