Just checked the LMA announcements. It would appear that there is a tug-of-war between UBS AG and Porter Orlin for a board seat?. While Lloyd Investment had sold 10533 shares and Arisaig 9071, totalling 19604 million shares, UBS AG had bought 27995 million shares, and Porter Orlin 29287 million (latest purchase of 2200 million shares announced today) totalling 57282 million.. Before the latest purchase by Porter, UBS AG had a slightly higher %. Any comments about the development? Good or bad ? .

Agree with ten4one. LMA price movements looking tired. Wait and see whether the "book makers" can shake off the ever-present short-term holders like jackjames (nothing wrong about that actually) by tricking them to sell out quickly (since they will be impatient). Only when these short-term players are "killed" will it be able to move. Me waiting for the drop after results announcement before covering my technical shorts....
ho2kit, LMA will have to break 45c with conviction before we talk about 50c. You'll find out quite soon, after the report card is out. LMA was trading averaging 55c from 1Aug to 10Oct before the selldown and is still nursing the wound. LMA is now in damage-controlled mode and have to come out with better solution than just getting Competitors to court. Cheers!

How rite you're jackjames! Frankly speaking, who want to see others lose money in the Stock Markets! We're here to help one another so that we're all in the win-win situation. I remember telling others to get out at around 58c while they still can. But now it is a bit tough, since they've come so far down! Sigh....I just can't understand why can't some Investors take a loss and come back to fight another battle. In a war, you win some battles, you lose some! Most important of all, you win the war in the end. You can't win all the battles you fight and sometimes, you don't have to fight at all!
Breakthrough it could, but you've to bear in mind that there're many waiting to unload once it moves a little north (including me). 3Q result can't be good - I'm waiting for the 'badder' news....haha, LMA can't be better, before it get 'badder' isn't it?????? Cheers!

if i find trobule for LMA, i believe many SJ forumer going to kill me, surely there are hundreds of people vested in this counter at 0.35-0.39, which I will call them WISE ! because we are all get it at the bargain price, but again, please don't forget the 3Q result is coming.. bear in mind. anything horrible, dump to that hello kitty , LOL..
hikitty, i am not stupid to throw at loss, come on, I bought at 0.38, I can easily let go at 0.385 if i want, i still got 4 more days, worst case, I can just buy them and keep for 1 week , 1 month, come on, 0.385 is not that hard to reach, right?

Some people may prefer the Exchange to change the rules the other way round. Long term holders not allowed. Maximum period of holding T+7....... :)

Alama! hikitty is cursing again........I think the S'pore Stock Exchange have to change the rules to accomodate her and make sure LMA surges above $1 and allow our hikitty to get out before allowing the 'damned Contra Long Players' in....or else bring them to court like LMA's "Int'l Image' was doing

LMA is holding well. Shocking for an "international image" company to underperform coz' of copycats. Hope the "damned contra long players" would keep off so that it price can remain steady.. Of course, the short sellers are welcomed, the more the merrier.
If there's certainty that LMA would fall today, according to Pension, jackjames would be the first to unload coz' of the 30 lots bought.

LMA's performance today changed the technical picture...
(ie. instead of breaking out downward, as I have guessed before, out of the triangle, it broke out upward quite nicely)...
It may move up higher from here... but hope the Dow helps it tonight...

There're many 'Players' waiting for the opportunity to get out ............of course, the higher the px, the more would want to get out.....as the coming results definitely would be disappointing! The question is "HOW BAD???????????"
Haha....jackjames, many small good kopi$$$$$ could add up to quite a lot of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ ........this is the best opportunity to do it before it becomes 'stuck in the mud again!' How often do you see LMA moves? Cheers...one more kopi-O please!
