My order to short@2.35 (the ceiling) was not done....
it only reached 2.33 ,,,
If done, it would have been another trade at a juicy peak...

Maybe today it will hit the ceiling again...

With F1, YOG and Universal Studios attractions,
profits are not rising faster than previous qtr ...
this is bad news... how to get to
$3? ...
they missed targets by 5 or 10% ah?
30m is net profit or revenue. if net profit then quite serious leh, if revenue...also quite serious. haha
One acc i already ask my remiser to help me sell at opening. Another one i am thinking to sell double or to keep. Cos i have a feeling tmr will plunge v fast but will recover back also. My feelings not accurate de ah

3 in total haha In my point of view. Genting is still good for long term investment. But a lot of retailers will sell tmr and short sell. I am a contra player, i wont be holding on to all the shares, so i should be playing with the mkt direction right?

If i understand you correctly, you are saying that if i Don't use the forced key, if open price is 2.25, but i have placed my sell price at 2.18, my stocks will still be sold at 2.25. Am i right to say that ? |

If you dun use forced key, u can only submit the sell order at 2.18... if the opening price is less than 2.18, the sell order will not go through...
however, if the opening price is above 2.18, it will go through..
the best price at opening is determined by the market tmr.. you can only submit a sell price to tell the system how low you are willing to let go of your shares.. |

Thanks Hesperus,
So the difference between force key is that it is able to widen your buy n sell limit as compared to normal buy and sell. So that's why u said 2.06 because that is 2.28 - 0.1 x 2.28 = 2.06 which is the lowest sell price for 'forced key'.
But if i do not use "force key" selling, will the system behave similarly like the "force key" where it will help you sell at the best price ? |

My price? Or AK? His I think I read before is below $1 that kind right? Mine mainly 1.86. Only few lots that day contra 2.27..

They will just deduct 25 poems rewards points for each usage.. no extra charges apart from the usual brokerage fees..
The diagram u showed earlier is just to tell u what are the market spreads like, i.e., how small the steps each share price can move..
like for Genting SP, the min bid spread is $0.01.. so the price can move 2.10, 2.11, 2.12, etc.. for GoldenAgr it is in steps of 0.005, i.e., it can move 0.765, 0.77, 0.775, 0.78, 0.785, etc..
normally for normal trading, u can use up to plus minus 10 bids... so at genting last done price at 2.28, u can either submit order to buy max at 2.38 or sell min at 2.18.. but if u use forced key, u can submit sell order for the (last done price - 10%) or (last done price +20%) |
