This counter looks like not " laku" now...

Shorting enthusiasts may have a go and enter @1.81.

No guarantee, but it's a beautiful spot to bet... Smiley

DJ MARKET TALK: S'pore Shares Likely To Open Higher, Gains Limited

0054 GMT [Dow Jones] Singapore shares are likely to rise at the open following the relief rally on Wall Street Wednesday but are likely to pull back towards the end of the session.

" I think the market will open stronger because of short covering... but there has been no real change in the global macro outlook," an analyst at a local brokerage says.

He expects the STI to find medium-term support at the 2650 level, which it fell to during the onset of the eurozone's problems last year.

Resistance is likely to be around the 2780 level.

Stocks in focus today include Frasers Centrepoint Trust (J69U.SG) after its private placement.

Commodities plays such as Wilmar International (F34.SG), Olam International (O32.SG) and Golden Agri-Resources (E5H.SG) are also likely to continue to be the main directional leaders for the STI on swings in the global economic outlook. (samuel.holmes@dowjones.com)

That is true and not something new in the stock market. A lot of cases, the market surge on " hope" , ending in plunge when the " hope" was not carried out. Lots of investors (the non experienced ones) got 3rd degree burn from such cases, if not death. Unfortunately, majority of investors dont really know what is happening, they merely following the flow and they have nothing to fall back on except the words of their brokers. Anyway dont wish to see any major damage done, and wish all good luck in your daily trades.

Mkt  just swing from +ve to -ve when trader says something. This  looks more like manipulation of words...  quote- European shares turned negative on Tuesday, with banks that had risen sharply in early trade on hopes China would buy into Italian debt giving up gains, as traders said it was not a long-term solution for the euro zone debt crisis.

it's best to wait and see for now.
Concurrently 20th Sept is the date everyone is eyeing on. Mr. Bernanke will announce hopefully some juicy news which will encourage the market. Otherwise, it's best to keep your cash and get ready with it when the bulls return.

Thanks & Regards,

Is this a bear trap? anyway... it's trading at R now - so is STI (20ma), not support. Trade at your own risk!
