Yeah. HPL! I put it in my watchlist after you mentioned yesterday but didn't buy. Zzzz.

I'm going to test the market on thurs and i'll keep you guys updated.. most likely i will short 1 lot of genting and 1 lot of golden agri to see how the market eats it up.. gotta test water to see if it's going to have a good response anot. if my short holds and cannot be eaten up by the market in 3 hrs (prolly gonna short it at 0.735) that means golden agri not responsive already .. for genting imma go short it at 2.12 or 13 and see how the market respond .. if my short can clear before the lunch break, it prolly means confirmation of uptrend by genting. 

 

Anyway, i still don't suggest contra players to go in yet.. pretty volatile still.. read the volatility index please... hahaha .. 

Still quite piss with myself over HPL hahahah ... the signs were all there but i was too busy to buy due to my exams... lucky i still got 20 lots of hpl in my cdp . stupid exams.

 

No choice. Cant do anything now. Just wait and see on thurs how GAR anticipates. Hopefully not so bad.....but not Worst!!

GAR exit at .735 liao. i had 15 lots, 10 lots sold. now holding 5lots.

ghk hold another 10 lots.

if intraday then probably gone case liao.

Strong Singapore exports signal inflation - StanChart

Tuesday, 16 November 2010 13:47   Singapore’s better-than-expected 5.8% on-month growth in October exports, seasonally adjusted, vs 4.7% contraction in September signals stronger growth in 2010; main challenge for next 12 months will be fighting inflation, Standard Chartered economist Alvin Liew says.  “While the October export performance reinforces the continued strong contribution towards Singapore’s economy via external demand, the flipside will be that such strong growth rates will be hard to beat in 2011, especially if we expect the growth recovery in the U.S. to be lackluster with unemployment remaining high and consumer sentiment weakening,” Liew says.    Adds, “after the double dose of tightening on October 14, we expect the central bank to keep policy steady in April.”

Cause i'm going to be vested.. and i think it'd be good to get other's advice as well.   All oversold... and it has touch MA20 and bouncing back now. also, touched the bottom bollingerband and bouncing back.. is that a confirmation?

Singapore October exports signal good start to 4Q - CIMB

Tuesday, 16 November 2010 13:23   Singapore exports grow faster than expected +34.5% on year vs downwardly revised +22.6% in August, signals 4Q trade, manufacturing off to a “decent” start, though growth momentum may slow, says CIMB economist Song Seng Wun. “As fears of a double dip recede, there is a rush to fill the shelves ahead of the holiday season. The data show that while growth momentum is slowing, you do get flashes here and there,” Song says.    Adds, semiconductors, pharmaceuticals numbers remain strong, but expects pharmaceuticals to dip on plant maintenance shutdowns in coming months.    Strong shipments may act as booster to 2H growth of export-dependent Singapore, easing of growth likely to be less sharp than previously estimated, Song says.
