pharoah88 .. you are talking about the flipping of a coin test as stated by Benjamin graham base on his intelligent investor. If the statistics to 3 times heads does not make a tails the next time more likely because it is a 50 - 50% chance of hititng. In this case, when you stupidly and naively gamble and place ur bets base on hearsay and rumours.. it applies to you as the trade either has a 50% chance of making or breaking you.. However, What TA does is not to entirely negate this effect.. TA helps you to gain more insight and minimize your % risk thereby increasing ur risk/reward ratio due to more information and knowledge.. y ou need FA and TA... fundamental and  technical and seek confirmation before going in for the trade. Without either, if purely fa, you will have to wait and hold for eons in order to get some returns base on market conditions.. some companies never even takes off in one's life time till much later ... or you could just ta and lose money.. but if you use ta and fa,.. you know the main important point which is to enter at which level at what price base on data and trend/price movement rather then parking your money there and letting inflation eat at it.

Also, you have been quoting signals buy and sell volume trend since god knows when .. that in itself is technical... how can you say it is a 50% flip if you believe in it so much? rather, i suggest you you think about what you are saying carefully before posting.

Sorry for not posting recently and replying my pm's.. exams are 2mrw till next weke tuesday .. after which im back in the market full time till january 4th and school begins again :(

Happy trading all.

Btw, the best time to load up is base on historical charts, the lowest volume period..

however, you have to realize that the 1870's deflation and the 1929 depression went down with severe rallies on the way down too.. be prudent and watch the market.. don't lump everything into one prymaid.. i mean.

DJ MARKET TALK: STI Likely To Extend Recent Fall; 3150 Support 11/23/2010 8:13:00 AM 0013 GMT [Dow Jones] Singapore shares at risk of extending recent losses after Wall Street's overnight decline triggered by concerns over federal investigation into insider trading. Since reaching almost 3-year high of 3313 earlier this month, STI has been on almost sustained decline, closing down 0.2% at 3190.92 yesterday. Support expected at current November low of 3150. "Having gone up so much since September, and with the year coming to an end, there's hardly any incentive for prices to head much higher. If anything, the market could pull back a bit as investors digest some of these gains," says foreign house trader. STI +8.2% since beginning September. Ascendas REIT (A17U.SG) may be closely watched as property trust widens investment scope beyond Singapore to explore acquisition opportunities in Asia; stock ended +1.5% at S$2.10 yesterday. DJ MARKET TALK: Citi Starts Mapletree Industrial Trust At Buy 11/23/2010 8:35:00 AM 0035 GMT [Dow Jones] STOCK CALL: Citigroup starts Mapletree Industrial Trust (ME8U.SG) at Buy with S$1.21 target price. Expects strong growth potential for Singapore-focused REIT's properties given favorable lease expiry profile, cessation of annual 5.5% rental cap in June next year. Tips 3-year organic earnings CAGR of 13% vs 0%-6% for other industrial REITs; "rental rates across business parks, flatted factories, and warehouses already appear to have bottomed and are beginning to show signs of improvement. With relatively low supply compared to expected demand across industrial properties, we expect occupancies and rentals for flatted factories to move towards their 2008 peak." Cites highly diversified tenant base of more than 1,500 multinational corporations, local companies, plus over 2,200 leases as key strengths. REIT flat at S$1.10 yesterday. with the world in such a messed up state, personal opinion is to bail out 1st. wait for dust to settle before going in.

if must trade, make it intraday. but with bad news coming out every 2-3 days from different country, not easy.

STI red for a few days liao, probably consolidating or low volume distribution. havent seen the charts myself. donno where to find STI charts. and too busy to find.

best idea to me, bail out, take note which of the blue chip suffered the most during this crisis, and MAU like ipunter would say big on it.

GAR got analyst report say worth 90 cents. donno i got chance to bail my remaining holdings anot.

thats all folks
