This counter is a penny stock and I don't think I can accurately interpret the charts for this one. Sorry....
I believe at this point of time, there's no who's right or wrong (as market movement is so unpredictable) but the healthy and quality exchanges from all in this thread has benefited many, including myself who has not place a single buy/sell in any counter as yet. I am still learning (especially those TA charts, not knowing how to interprete them at all), wondering if any one especially like singaporegal can kindly advice, what other indication or charts will tell if it's goinna be an up or down trend after the tightening of the bollinger band.
Besides BJ and SGX counters, i am also looking at penny stocks especially HLH, BBR, Star Tech, Teledata and others which i might have overlooked, for a short term investment say about 1-2 months with a return of 20% of the present prices.
Would really appreciate your kind advices.

RyanWong, I dun really monoitoring this counter, just a little active on this thread all bcos of Pension...lol. i would like to assume a scenario here about BJ. Assuming BJ will get a liscence, but only after 5 mths later. During this 5 month, BJ is for sure will not go up much, but a range bound and if mkt sentiment no good, BJ will be drag down also. If there is no new leads, BJ will still be under the water. Be it $2K, $20K or $200K invested during this 5 mths is a waste of opportunity in other counters that you may make from your investment here. Interest in the bank if the $$ is in there will give some return on your 2K. If I have 2K, I will invest in a company that I can see some earning, future, etc....not BJ at this moment. But I am not suggesting you exit from here....it's your choice.
I agree with you Idesa168. If I were you I would also not put my money into Ban Joo at this point. My style however is not to easily cut loss.
My plays are based more on position sizing.
I bought small on Ban Joo after the halt because there was a chance it would go up while medium to long term I believe I have explained already. So I figured why not. Personally I am disappointed that Ban Joo dropped.
But I still think the chance for the lottery license is still there and if so, long term this stock has a future. So I am still staying in until the license results are out. If after they are out and it continue to drop.....I will also get out and give up on this stock. But at present moment still got some hope.
I believe you also think so which is why you are still monitoring this stock too. :)

I have different view from you in stock mkt. I think stock mkt is a place to make $$, and if you invest wisely, the return is enormous.
2 schools of thought here, LONG and SHORT term investment.
The SHORT term investor are treating the stock mkt as a casino. Hit and run. There are always winners and losers in this short term of investment. Many BB are short term investors. They are of advantage bcos the the big fund they have and backing from the fund house, getting first hand info.85% of the BB makes $$. The other sector of short term investors are the retail investor like you and me. The chance we make $$ is 50/50. With TA, trading skill, that will increase the chance of winning, still below 85% like the BBs.
The LONG term investors are like businessmen. They do not have millions of dollars to start business and hence they got a piece of the business by being the shareholders of the business. The wise ones will do homework before putting the $$ into the stock. The blur blur ones will just tikam tikam throw their $$ in the stock and totally forgotten about it, realising it only 10 years later. These 2 groups of investor will make $$. The wise one will make more $$ than the blur ones. However, if the blur ones invest with some luck, he will make $$ as much as the wise one...lol...
There are a few groups of investors which is not usually mentioned in books....The blur investors with short term view but plunge into the wrong stock and forced to become a long term investors...hehehe. Another are investors with no knowledge of the business they invest in abd after taking position, the company liquidate and file for section 13...hehehe.
So dun be too pessimistic of the stock mkt that one will make $$ and loose all later. It all depends on the horizon view you have set for yourself. Enjoy lah!
