Dear Readers,

I shall wait the price to reach Sgd 0.80 or above and let them go.

A touch of drama certainly makes the punting more interesting!  :)

Yes, vested.  The "manipulators" are patiently sleeping by the side. They will start gobbling up the shares when they "wake" up feeling hungry.  This share has never stagnate for months.  It has been gyrating up and down daily with the "manipulators" not being able to collect the shares at low prices in huge quantities.  At least the company is very unlikely to be wound up like other speculative counters.

Chipchip66 -  What do u mean by "after that"?   Probably will stagnate for one week, one month, or what?    With signs of accumulation of the share at current low prices and  low volume sales, the "manipulators" will  soon "knock the daylight out of you"  before you realise it, and prove you wrong!    Never underestimate a "sleeping lion".  It should wake up with a "robust roar " soon.!

Should post a mild rebound to 70++c over the short term and probably will be stagnant after that!

I like the  "ramp up this share"  part best.  :)

Agree with iPunter Senior that all downtrends must come to an end, unless the shares belong to companies that are on the verge of collapse. In LMA's case, it is not.  Owing to patent infringements, its profitability has been affected after the shares were listed. It hit double bottom once in June 2006 and recently. Coupled with accumulation at its current historical low prices (Is it logical to think that all of them have been doing so to lose?) and its low daily volumes (sign of investors' reluctance to sell at low prices) this share shd trend upwards after the next quarter earnings report in April 2007 . With positive earnings growth in its latest third quarter earnings report and thereafter, and its S$6.3 million claim in its patent case against Ambu  for damages (having won its suit in August 2006),  it should move upwards.  Without having enough shares at low prices (may be they are just play acting by selling to each other at low prices to entice selling at low prices), how are the "manipulators" to ramp up this share!!

LMA

To me, the downtrend started at around 21st Sep.

And it has gradually since then, after 'struggling to regain it's former glory' for a short period,  gone to a low of 0.63. This low appears to be  a 'floor'  where accumulation  has been taking place already.

All downtrends must come to an end. To me this hardly appears to be a familiar pattern of a continuation of the trend. It is more likely that the accumulation will continue in a narrow band of 0.63/5. In fact, I think it is more than likely to move up soon.

Hi iPunter,

Why do you say that its not on a downtrend?

I see signs of weaknesses in LMA. I feel there's a chance it could downtrend anytime soon.

Since, as I understand, your landlord is a shrewd and successful investor, why not look to him for motivation rather than 'appealing to the wilderness', so to speak. Sometimes, there's treasure in front of us which we ignore.  :)

By the way, my view is that  this stock is not on a downtrend at this time.

It said it, through unit The Laryngeal Mask Co Ltd, has filed suit against Ambu BV in the Netherlands over alleged patent infringement. It said it has won its lawsuit against Ambu Deutschland GmbH in Germany over the same infringement case of its European patent.

"This latest action in the Netherlands, coming as it does soon after our success in Germany, is part of our wider strategy to protect our intellectual property against infringement by Ambu and other competitors," LMA president John Lim said in a statement.

When investing, don't be misled by its brand.  A brand can be very deceiving.  If it does not run, what's the value of a brand.  Zero!!   Lost investor confidence may  "damage" a brand affecting its sales and share market performance.

Tks Nostradamus for the hard work to post the update.  LMA has been sleeping for "donkey" months below its IPO price most of the time since being listed. - a  total  "letdown" (as far as investors are concerned)  for a fundamentally strong share that can't even match the performance of most China shares.    Always be careful : looks or country of registration does not necessarily improve the image of a share..

It has secured the intellectual property (IP) rights to the LMA Supreme, the latest generation single-use laryngeal mask airway from Venner Capital SA for US$4.7 mln.

The acquisition includes IP and other rights in the moulds and related tooling used in the manufacture of adult sizes of the LMA Supreme.

LMA had previously purchased the LMA CTrach and the LMA Unique from Venner.

Venner is the holding company of the firms involved in the manufacture and R&D of laryngeal mask products for sale to LMA.

Can sense the contra players are waiting at the sidelines for the first sign of  rotational play to move this share upwards - support level prices  firm with low volumes.   The market is severely cash strapped with far too much contra playing, but NOT  enough mid or long term investors.
