DBS covering their ass. When delay of 3-G rollout was made known, they still recommended a buy with a price target of $2.00+. Unbelievable!
Shoddy analysis on their part. Thank goodness I stayed out of this counter.
I think dbs have to re-rate the TP again...due to 5% drop in profit causing a 20.8% drop in price...
The question is how did the results turn sour so quickly ompared to the previous quarter. With profit eroding at the rate, it is no surprise that investors want out of this counter. Mgmt. have alot of explaining to do.
With 3-G likely to be roll out only next year in China, it's doomed.

Longcheer H1 earnings up 14%
LONGCHEER Holdings has reported a 14 per cent rise in earnings to 113.5 million yuan (S$22.4 million), while revenue was up 22 per cent at 1.16 billion yuan for the half-year ended Dec 31, 2006.
are we going to cheer tomorrow or jeer tomorrow, seems like a profit warning from long cheer.
but they are giving a 1.6 cents dividend on the 9th of March..

Great that my call is movin up strongly. I am still vested and my target is 1.28. That is good for my ang pao. My entry point was 1.12.
