Singapore’s Straits Times Index was little changed 3,159.37 as of 9:10 a.m. local time. About the same number of stocks rose and fell in the benchmark equity index of 30 companies.

Shares on the measure trade at an average 15.3 times estimated earnings, compared with about 17.4 times at the beginning of the year, according to data compiled by Bloomberg. The following shares were among the most active in the market. 

 

Global Logistic Properties (GLP SP), a logistics company whose customers include Wal-Mart China, Deutsche Post AG’s DHL and FedEx Corp., climbed 1.4% to $2.25. The company said second-quarter net income more than tripled to US$85.4 million ($112.5 million) from US$27 million a year earlier.

Suntec Real Estate Investment Trust (SUN SP), a property trust partly owned by Hong Kong billionaire Li Ka-shing, dropped 2.1% to $1.40. The company said it raised $428.8 million in gross proceeds from the sale of 313 million new shares at $1.37 each in a private placement.
