NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- U.S. stocks on Wednesday extended sharp gains on reports that the United States might be ready to back a larger European financial stability fund. "As it is currently funded, there is not enough money for Portugal and Spain, so the worry that Spain is too big to rescue gets alleviated if there's a conversation about a larger pool of funds," said Art Hogan, chief market strategist at Jefferies & Co. After popping 150 points, the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA 11,246+239.58+2.18%)was lately up 233.14 points to 11,239.16. The S&P 500 Index (SPX 1,206+25.21+2.14%)climbed 24.64 points to 1,205.19. The Nasdaq Composite (COMP 2,555+56.55+2.26%) rose 55.20 points to 2,554.43.

I also expect GenSp to gradually rise up to $2.30 before or just after 4th quarter results.

Holiday season will see a boost to the profits for GenSp's 4th quarter.

I will probably include this stock in my portfolio.

Ha ha, BTW, AK is notes collector, esp Spore, Masia, Brunei, Phi, Indon etc. If u forumers want to spend your old spore notes, pse let AK know, I will use double px to buy your note. Best if u hv Dr Goh Keng Sui's notes. Currently I only hv one n 2 dollar notes with his signatures only. Orchird notes, I think is d popular notes for collection.

Ok good night all.

If tomorrow the stocks gap-up too high, don't chase first.

Some folks will probably profit take in the first 15mins if high gap-up.

If small gap-up, then the risk is lower, and will probably rally higher.

If gap-down, then something is wrong, better not buy.

Good night all.  Smiley

I am overall bullish on banks, but susceptible to interest rate adjustments locally and globally.

Same for property stocks.

So I do not touch these 2 sectors after the recent China and Hong Kong fiasco.
