ozone2002, don't worry. the dividend will not be taxed cos it is one tier dividends. From Jan 2008 onwards, all S'pore companies distributes 1-tier dividends, meaning tax will not be levied on the shareholders.
i rather not take the dividend..cos got tax.. and i got too many lots..sure kenna taxed.. take profit >$7.6.. no tax on capital gains..heh heh
Strong dividend play is almost a sure win. When the "fat dividend" comes around again next year, just do the same thing.
I sold one lot at $7.45 thinking of buying back again at lower price ... but no chance today. Will buy again if dip below $7.30

no lah...SGX today cost me $400 damage, plus other counters my damage today is $550+. Luckily I got bonus from SPC yesterday's kelong close that earned me $600, if not I will be in red today! But still in green lah, not too bad! PLUS today SPC cheong, my unrealised profit today from SPC is $2K, so still happy afterall! Cheers!

The joker didn't do anything leh. But he sucessfully hold those shortiests went in above 7.40. Stayed strong at 7.40 before closing at 1700hrs. But I still Q to buy 10 bits lower, ie 7.30 around 17.02, though knowing that the burger is not going to trap people today. No harm loh, test only mah.
For the new one, pse note that you still can login to B and S during the pre-close period, 1700-1705. One more minute added to you, 1705-0706 but you cannot do withdrawer or cancellation during this minute.
Tomorrow gonna be another chanllenging day leow, if DJ really topples tonite.
The 2 cents man had already made 20¢ today, why bother about another 2¢...hehehe!!!

Wonder where is ipunter.
He kept repeating that SPC is on a long term down trend and i am waiting for it to be downtrend but instead it is up up and away.
The burger activated from 1530hrs onwards. So fast that it cleared my early Q at 7.38, I chased 7.39 and 7.42 done within secs. Didn't waste any more bullets, when I saw it at 7.45, I Q 748, it touched there but nothing happening.
I will use the 2 cents method to buy back during pre-close period. If got it, I will treat it as a naked short. If not, take the cash this coming SAT leow loh. Minus 6 cents brokages, net earn per share 46 cents, ie 40 cents div + 6 cents bonus, he he. I am doing this as AK predict SPC may go down trend owing to US BBs coming qtr result cards, this week. My view only lah. Of course, I will buy back it the price favaourable again.
Still hv some bullets, can try tomorrow again. Cheers.

OK, covered back all short positions liao...with SPC kopi$$, I am still in green...$25...hehehe! Today, really unlucky, short all counters, all rised! Come back again tomorrow!
Thanks, but I have not have any CFD account yet. Just about to apply thru POEMS over the wkend. Another option is Naked short, which I dun think I will go for that. Just bite the bullet and pain pain cut lah...luckily got SPC kopi $$ to cushion a little.
