From NextInsight,
AS JAPAN struggles with cleaning radiation contamination at Fukushima Prefecture following its nuclear accident two years ago, Singapore-listed life-sciences company Transcu has tied up with two leading Japanese companies to help remove radioactive waste.
Transcu subsidiary, Biomass Energy Corporation (?BME?), recently signed agreements in Japan with the following companies to provide solutions for cleaning up cesium, an extremely toxic radioactive element with a half-life of 30 years:
(1) Leading Japanese manufacturer of radiation measurement equipment, Chiyoda Technol Corporation (?Chiyoda Technol?), which has developed special filters for removing radioactive cesium. Chiyoda Technol is a pioneer and leading radioisotope applications manufacturer in Japan.
(2) Leading Japanese heat burner manufacturer Olympia Kogyo Co Ltd (?Olympia?) to build biomass gasification plants.

No kidding ...  the founder of the Group, Mr Akihito Matsumura has made several important visits to Japan with regard to the Fukushima leak problem. I am sure he is even more eager to secure the mega project. All the years of R& D ... BME, now is the time to showcase to the whole world .... what an apportune moment.
It is was reported recently .... proposal to clean (contaminated) water using an elaborate filtering system.
Believe it or not ... it is up to U !!!
Polarbear55,
1. It does not matter if company share price is just 1 cts, important is BB has the antidote/ cure/ remedy. Japan Government has the money, surrounding neighbours like China, Korea ..... has lots of money $$$$
2. I am not put off by what you said because I'm not the first to day dream. My investment is nothing, as compared to the WBee. Read below :
The Board of Directors
(the ?Board?) of Transcu Group Limited (the " Company" ) refers to the announcement dated 22 July 2013

sub-tranches with (i) Tranche 1 Notes comprising fifteen (15) equal

Keep Dreaming :)
Prosperousman keep our fingers crossed.  It definitely accelerates the find for a fix extremely urgent !!! Even if they are not, the surrounding neighbours will ....
Japan's nuclear regulator said yesterday it has officially raised the severity rating of the latest radioactive water leak at the crippled Fukushima nuclear plant to LEVEL 3 on the international scale for radiological releases.

Anyone know what is happening ??? Height00 is right ...   more than 3 months  since the  Media Release on May 16, 2013.
Transcu Group CEO Lawrence Komo said  on the success of the trials, :  ?This is a huge breakthrough, not only for our company and its shareholders, but for all countries relying on nuclear electricity generation for their industries and citizens.?
?An event of such scale and impact, while unfortunate, calls for radical measures and I believe that  Transcu has successfully come up with what is needed ? a clean and efficient way to remove up to 99% of the cesium, which leaves the area safe by United Nations standards, while adding the extra advantage of producing clean and renewable energy on an economic basis?, Mr Komo concluded
By now  we  should be hearing news about it, but so far nothing at all.  Wondering why they are keeping quiet about the progress of BME biomass machine ? Conclude, Conclude what   ???
