True....good earning also down as maybe like u said, after the result then wait and see to buy on dips. Safer that way, yes? Also may get cheaper too! Have a great weekend and be ready for action on Monday, cheers!

closing the gap..?? earnings next week fingers crossed..sweetbird has given me sweets..leave some for the rest..ciao
" " Swiber NAV is 0.9359. PE is 7.249. single digit PE is very good "
From a FA view...using this NAV and not forgetting the 0.21cents gain from the sale of Kreux...the value is easily double of today 0.67 cents.
From a TA view...the chart is nice and gap out of the moving averages....
The rest is up to the market ....results are base on PAST contracts win and delivery. So not the contracts win last quarter.  Further if I recall....Swiber has over $1B orders on hand.
Just wait and see the results and price within the next few weeks. :))

got a bad feeling with this quarter result. YTD contract win quite bad. now all it needs is to create some RTO rumours, then can fly tgt with ezra. kekeke

Swiber NAV is 0.9359. PE is 7.249. single digit PE is very good.
fundamentally sound. but beware of volatility when the earnings report is out soon.

Swiber shd bounce up after hitting 665..

A prediction of a price is only a guide if it comes with a time factor. Or the price target is meaningless.
( personal view) .  Anyway I am not qualify to predict a 72c at what time.
However....I echo the input below....with additional 21c....how long can it be....just wait for the shareholders meeting on this approval and we shall see...good luck
Disposing entire stake in Kreuz for S$256.2m
Swiber Holdings announced last evening that SEA9 Pte Ltd, an investment-holding company wholly-owned by The Headland Private Equity Fund 6 L.P, has proposed to acquire Swiber?s entire 57.5% stake in Kreuz Holdings for S$0.80/share, translating to a consideration of S$256.2m for Swiber. Due to a netting agreement in which all trade and other receivables as well as payables between Kreuz and Swiber are set-off and settled, Swiber will receive S$129.2m in cash out of its S$256.2m consideration. This translates to ~S$0.21/share in cash.

Hi guys, I am new here. Wanna ask about Swiber's outlook.
For MetalTrader, may I ask how is the price of 0.68 above market value? I thought the daily traded prices are already the market value.  So how does one exactly arrive at a target price of 0.40-0.45?
Wah zhun bo. Other than noble and swiber, he still gt predict what other stocks?

![]() ![]() ![]() | Swiber (Fair Value- 0.40 to 0.50) Currently price of 0.68 is 10-20% above market value. Outlook: Hard to predict, because it has mixed investments & fluctuation. Short Term Outlook (for 3 months): With flaws & will drop till 0.62 Target buying price prefered: 0.40- 0.45 For your reference, do not follow all. Make your own decision.

Dragados in US$200mn subsea pipeline deal with Pemex
October 11, 2013 old new though...
Dragados Offshore, a unit of Spain's Grupo ACS, has landed a US$200mn deal to build a 38km subsea pipeline for Mexican national oil company Pemex's E& P unit PEP, BNamericas has learned.
Dragados won the contract with a bid of US$199mn, beating out Singapore's Swiber Offshore (US$216mn), London-based Subsea 7 (US$300mn) and local firm Permaducto (US$219mn), according to tender documents.
Dragados tabled the bid in consortium with Italian marine services firm Microperi.
The 38km, 36-inch oil and gas pipeline will connect the Xanab-A, Xanab-C and Yaxche-A production platforms to the Dos Bocas marine terminal in Tabasco state. The Xanab and Yaxche fields are both part of PEP's offshore light crude project, currently producing 67,000b/d and 47,000b/d respectively.
The contract is due to be signed October 25, with work beginning the following day and Dragados will have 300 days to complete the line.
this quarter results will determine price direction hopefully beats analysts estimates
Swiber's disposal of Kreuz
Written By Stock Fanatic on Thursday, November 7, 2013
We have not been able to contact Swiber?s management yet, but here is summary of Swiber?s disposal of Kreuz and our preliminary thoughts on it:
The offer of S$0.80/share represents a premium of about 78.4% over Kreuz?s NAV/share as at 30 Sep, and is 4.6% higher than Kreuz?s last traded price of S$0.765 before the announcement of the offer. This values Kreuz at ~1.8x P/B and ~6.4x FY13F P/E (based on annualised 9M13 EPS), which seems unattractive on a P/E basis. However, do note that Kreuz?s share price has increased significantly this year- it is up 95% YTD, and Swiber?s management may either 1) deem it an opportune time to dispose of its investment, 2) Kreuz?s earnings growth may not be as optimistic as market expects, 3) Swiber is in need of cash.
Proceeds to be used as working capital and fund future investments
Swiber is expected to record a net gain of about US$90.6m from this proposed disposal, and the cash consideration of S$129.2m will be used as working capital to fund the group?s core business as well as to undertake future business expansions and acquisitions as they arise. Do note that as at Jun 2013, Swiber was in a net debt position of US$643m.
Technical Analysis

Daily Chart
Loss of future earnings from Kreuz
The proposed disposal is subject to the approval of the shareholders of Swiber at an EGM (to be convened), and should it take place, Swiber will deconsolidate Kreuz from its financials. This will have a significant impact on Swiber?s earnings, as Kreuz is estimated to contribute about half of our FY13F EPS forecast of 11.5 S cents.
Kreuz started its operations in Jul 2008 with the establishment of Kreuz Subsea Pte. Ltd., as the offshore subsea services division of the Swiber Group. It was listed on the Catalist Board in Jul 2010 (IPO price S$0.27/share), and was transferred to the Main Board in Oct 2012.
According to Kreuz?s IPO prospectus, Swiber?s effective cash cost per share in Kreuz was S$0.529.
