or it may crash below 10c!
Possible double bottom at $0.14. May rebound from here.
Is it the DMF or methanol having over supply? Care to elaborate for fellow forumer.
Cheers
I dun think is oversupply.., looks like time to pump in for JC in these few days...
Oversupply? Care to explain?
Investor Jim Rogers is buying Chinese shares. He has bought in the last four to five weeks.
Not much upside due to oversupply
Sunvic has staged a recovery but Jiutian is still sleeping...
Immediate resistance for Jiutian is around $0.175. Next resistance is around $0.19. Full TA here.
China's stocks surged 9.3% yesterday, sending the Shanghai Composite Index to its biggest gain in more than 6 years, after the government cut the stamp duty on equity trading to to 0.1% from 0.3%. The sentiment on S-shares, including Jiutian, will be lifted by this. The Shanghai Composite Index is likely to surge another 500 points to 4,000 in the short term.
Believe so too. But think that the downside is limited and TP $.175 should be achievable within 1 week inline with other S shares. TP by year end is estimated $.35 by some 3 analyst as reported by BT.
Dividend of $0.00177 will be payable soon and AGM is scheduled for 29 April next Tues. Hope this AGM will bring good report regarding the Company's expansion progress.
Now queuing to get $.15 for 1 mil shares. May just pick up $.155 by end of the day and hold for a month.
Cheers.

I believe Jiutian has turned the corner at $0.14. But be careful because it looks like it's being played. Suddenly, 4.638m shares sold down at $0.155. 3m withdraw from the $0.155 queue. Then 4m withdraw from the $0.15 queue.
Jiutian is definitely coming back since it was last sold down by shortists and some funds.
Fundamentally, looking at its current production capabilty/ capacity vs 6 months ago, the Company has positioned itself for very strong growth in 2008/ 09. The last Q4 poor result ( although still profitable ) was a one off event due to ramping up and inherent startup cost of the latest 120,000 ton plant and an unforseened higher price raw material giving a high PE ratio making the stock look expensive.
Study into what the management has done to their Company will allow investor to see the potential of exponential returns for the stock. Building on what they are good at, they increase their Company's DMF production plant capacity by 5 times 40,000 ton to 150,000 ton . The second 250,000 methanol plant scheduled to be ready in Q3 provide their own feed for the DMF production. The sales revenue is expected to increase 1.5 times in 2008 and 4 times in 2009.
Placement share price was fully subscribed in Mar 2007 at $2 ( 40 cents after stock split ) and Company is sitting on its cash readily for expansion ...
Current price of $.14 to $.15 is close to its 52-weeks low of $.13 at 20 Mar 2008. The 52-week high is $.82 done on 2 Oct 2007.
Short term will be volatile due to conflicting analyst's comments and outlook. But the Company should be able to ride out the storm with sets of excellent results to silent all their critics.
Just my 2 cents opinion on this counter.
Vested quite a bit , cheers!
Beware stocks in China are performing poorly now. It might affect China stocks in Singapore.
Shorting now may be rather late, since 'juice' may be limited.
But beware...
Since nothing is for certain in the stock market,
whacking big is certainly not the best action under any circumstances...
will short a few millions shares the next few day and wait for it to drop below 10c to cover back...
I agree with Nostradamus's position...
I've already sold earlier.
I was looking at there report recently, the PE is too high (abt 17) for current market condition. Even if we use the most optimistic PE of 10, the stock is worth about 8cts.....
NTA is about 8.5cts....
Most good S Share have PE of 6~8
Bearish descending triangle pattern. Better sell while you can. TA here.
they downgrade jiutian to dirt cheap price so that they can buy lower and after collect enough, they will upgrade to super high...this is so called big fish makan small fishes!
CIMB has rated Jiutian Underperform with a tp of $0.12. The report is at:
http://www.remisiers.org/research//Jiutian-170408[UNDPERF%20CIMB].pdf
TA wise, Jiutian is also bearish. Broken below the descending triangle pattern with a $0.155 base.
