Jackjames i'm also a ikan bilis. I bought capitalmall prior to the announcement on friday at 1.45. I holding 3 lots now. U say ikan bilis like us die kau kau meaning we couldnt entitled for the rights, is it? Is that we must own at least 10 lots to qualify for the rights? Pls advice le. I'm newbies in shares but wish to learn more if you can advice. Ya i saw "fractional entitlements is disregard" in the announcement. Is that what it means no proportionate on the right issued?

shit capitaland... it brings all the shits to capitamalltrust..

even worse, right issue now for capitamalltrust is every 10 shares, buy 9 right shares, u want ikan billis like us die kau kau ar?

so, obviously capitamalltrust aiming for big institution, can u imagine how much money u need to pour in to exercise the rights? oh well..

i am not going to buy more stupid shares, if the price is okay, i might cut loss... and bite my own fingers... let's see..

raising right issue is to squeeze us to folk out more money for them !!!!! bloody a**h***!!

in fact, to say a fair words, any solid blue chip stock, only have one way direction , UP ! this Ox year must be a bull year soon !

Sorry, I made a mistake. I was referring to CapitaMall in my earlier post and not Cosco Corp. The rest of content remains.

Haha......No one can be 100% certain of the future of a company, whether it will become the market leader. Even after analysis, we can only be somewhat confident at best. One still need to constantly monitor one's investment choices. I cannot predict the future of Cosco Corp 100% accurately. A company can be subjected to various internal and external factors through time affecting it's future competitive strength and earning power. Even if one invest in Cosco Corp at current low price levels, he still need to actively monitor the future of Cosco Corp and then decide to further increase or decrease his position in Cosco Corp through time. Cheap price doesn't necessarily mean value buy. A price near IPO price is only attractive if the company is worth investing in. However, it already makes good sense to buy Cosco Corp at current price levels compared to one year ago should one be positive about it's future long-term prospects.

If one is trading short-term, the long term future of Cosco may not be of concern. Instead, technical indicators will decide entry and exit points, capitalising on short-term price trends (to long or short the stock short-term). It depends on whether one is investing based on fundamental analysis or technical analysis.
