Frankly, at 14.5c the share is only at its FV based on Q1 result. I except Q3 result to be worse than Q1 and Q2 if the freight rate remian at current level.

To buy into this stock now will means parking your money in there for few months without having any chance of making money and have to bear the risk of further correction after Q3 result!

I view this counter as a yield play.

As CM is newly listed, we are still uncertain if they will pay interim divident. Personally I don't think so cos BDI is still quite volatile. If you agree with my opinion, then FY06 results will only be known in Feb 07 and div paid in April/May. So, we still have time.

Given the market situation right now, prices may look quite attractive (14 - 15 cts) from the potential yield point of view. But if you take a position now, your funds will be tied up for about 10 months to benefit from divident. So,at this time, better to bottom fish.....say put a low 'buy' price and hope to catch some. Then take profit when it goes up ...bear in mind that @ this level, each bid up (or down) constitutes a gross price movement >3.3%.

I think not time yet to buy. It is approaching the fair value of 14c but I'm afriad the market sentiments during world cup may push the price lower..no hurry since there are many other shares that look more attractive now.

14.5 cents! Very near to my earlier forecast of 14c!! I though need to wait until Q3 result is out to drive the price down but it came earlier than expected!

Fundamentals have not changed. Q3 result will ne the worst if  DBI remian at current level. My advise is to avoid until the DBI shows sign of recovery.

Co. sitting on pile of cash...think its about USD25 mil....from IPO to buy vessels. So, can be in the market to expand fleet.

Fleet expanded by 3 vessels since IPO (in Sep 2005?). Depreciation is a bigger cost factor than maintenance....so, in weighing the balance between higher depreciation (for new vessels) vs higher maintenance (for older vessels), the latter will have a greater impact on the bottomline. Coupled with the fact that new vessels price are more expensive...hence higher financing cost...which will have further impact on bottomline.

Yes, freight rates have come down but my guess is its eps will come in @ about 2 US cts for FY2006. Divident policy is 50% of net profit and tax free i.e divident of 1.0 US cts per sh or say 1.6 sing cts. So, at current level, the yield is quite attractive......but got to monitor the DBI (Dry Bulk Index) to keep track of its revenue stream.

Like it or not, there is only 1 way to go....and that is DOWN. If CM supporters had listen to me earlier they will not be feeling so sad now!!! Still not too late...WILL drop to 14c.
