anyone eyeing on this counter.MACD and RSI look promising..
Just saw an analyst report. Showed some interesting facts and figures.
What caught my eye was the statement .... "Wheelock Properties continues to be in a sweet defensive spot given its low landbank. If we take its unsold landbank at breakeven cost and write off its entire equity stake in Hotel Properties and SC Global, its valuation would be S$1.96/share".
Think Keppel Land, HPL, SC Global and Wheelock will be the next property play - just my view.
Disclaimer : Not enticement for anyone to buy.
It is releasing those in HK - very likely there could be some kind of payout to shareholders.
Outperform by all analysts and TP is 2.56

Privitisation on the card....anyone....?
Hi all,
just like to hear some opinions on this counter...today newspaper reported Wheelock giving out 6cents dividends...that is 6.67% yield of current price 0.90. Is this a good buy? I think payout is somewhere in May....

I guess I should worry that Wheelock is going to suddenly jump up from $1.26 to $1.95 in a single day and eat up all my profits and thus give me no chance at all to close my short position. I guess I am playing with fire here.

when u least expect it, surprises usually jump out from the dark and bite u in the neck.
I really love Wheelock. Its my biggest short position win. Shorted it all the way down from $1.95 three months ago and still holding on now. I hope it goes the way of Ho Bee, Allgreen and Hong Fok.
