Luzhou and China Sun are both heavily affected by corn price, since Sun has risen, Luzhou will follow suit. With the current expansion plan and corn sweetener in demand, the time for Luzhou is coming....Corn price also start to go downhill, hope it will continue.... in any cases that corn price is down significantly, higher profit margin of the current products, expansion production capability... can anyone imaging how huge the FY07 profit can be?????

Raw sugar fell to a six-month low in New York after India, the world's 2nd-biggest producer, said it may double exports of the commodity this year, adding to a global supply surplus.

India may export as much as 2 million metric tons this year, twice what was forecast earlier, Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar said today in New Delhi. World sugar production will exceed demand in the 12 months through Sep, after 3 annual shortfalls, the International Sugar Organization predicts.

"There is absolutely no good news coming out of the sugar market," Sudakshina Unnikrishnan, an analyst with Barclays Capital in London, said by telephone. "Speculative interest is weak, there is a strong rise in global sugar supply from countries such as Brazil, India, Thailand and Australia, and nothing much has changed on the demand side."

Raw sugar for May delivery fell 2.5% to 9.87 US cents a pound as of 12:11 p.m. on the New York Board of Trade, the lowest compared with closing prices since Sep. 25. Raw sugar has dropped 46% in a year.

Refined, or white, sugar futures dropped 1.4% to US$336.90 a metric ton on the Euronext.liffe exchange in London. That's the lowest since Feb. 28.

The Indian government will pay exporters as much as 1,450 rupees a metric ton to meet transportation costs to the ports, Agriculture Minister Pawar said. India, the world's biggest sugar consumer, will build stockpiles of 2 million tons to help arrest a slide in domestic prices, Pawar said.

The country's sugar-cane farmers may produce a record 26.1 million tons this year, 550,000 tons more than previously estimated, London-based sugar broker C. Czarnikow Sugar Ltd. says. Domestic sugar prices have fallen by a fifth in a year.

"The subsidy has made Indian sugar very competitive and we should comfortably export 2 million tons this year," Narendra Murkumbi, managing director of Shree Renuka Sugars Ltd., India's 3rd-biggest producer, said in a telephone interview. Exports could "easily" reach 3 million tons next year, he said.

based on TA, it is not able to break above $0.71 for past few days with high volume...reversal trend (whether it will try lower low or higher high) still not confirmed yet...watch point $0.67 (weak support), $0.58 (strong support)..if break above $0.71 with high volume will be bullish and confirm the up reversal trend (higher high), else may still persist in down trend (lower low)...let's watch and see...not vested now

Allow me to put this way, when the directors sold the shares, other party also buying... this is exactly what happen to MMI before. Multiple directors sold at $1, and now $1.66. so who smarter??? I believe Luzhou certainly will go up, it's just the matter of when....

Can't trust China Directors.Today could see some blood-letting for Luzhou !

If Insiders (2 China Directors) dumped at rock bottom price (8m @ 62cts on 27/3), minorities going to stampede to exit fast....
