Personally think this is a time to accumulate and not to sell. Can see BB doing it. Knowing them, soon they will upgrade these stocks.
Current reporting season will vindicate the good chinese companies from the recent indiscrimate batterings. The Chinese companies should outperform the local ones. Their low PE and P/B are unprecendented anywhere. Just my thots. Cheers.

JPMorgan Predicts Rosy Future For China

China is among the emerging markets that may outperform in the second half of this year, JPMorgan Chase & Co said on Saturday, as inflation concerns ease.
Share prices in China and other countries investors have shunned in the first half may "move rapidly," JPMorgan analysts led by Adrian Mowat said. An Emerging Portfolio Fund Research survey at the end of June showed more fund managers had cut their North Asian holdings, the brokerage said, suggesting a recovery might be around the corner, Bloomberg News reported.
"We are forecasting significant country and sector rotation in the second half of 2008, driven by lower headline inflation and a poor risk/reward profile for commodity and energy stocks," the JPMorgan analysts wrote in the Saturday report. "Countries such as China and Mexico are ahead of the curve in dealing with inflation."
The MSCI Emerging Markets Index fell 13 percent in the first six months of 2008, while China's CSI 300 Index dropped 48 percent during the period, the second-worst performance among the 83 global benchmarks tracked by Bloomberg. The number of investors that were "underweight" in China outnumbered those "overweight" in the country by 21, climbing from 16 the previous month, JPMorgan said, citing a survey of 45 fund managers.

PWC has cleared it of financial fraud. its results are supposed to be out before 31 jul. going by their previous one, should be equally good. nicely posed for the olympics, too.

China Energy rose on strong volume. Investors likely anticipating positive outcome of PricewaterhouseCoopers' review on company's CNY197.8 million takeover of Jiutai Energy August last year. China Energy hired PwC in Mar to probe deal after its audit committee discovered in Dec extra CNY190 million paid for purchase. Stock made some recovery since but still well off levels above $0.80 before saga. "Management has received the review from PwC. I don't think there's going to be anything material. From the tone of management, I don't think the outcome is negative. That will probably clear some doubts," says foreign house analyst; expects outcome to be announced before company reports earnings later this month.

err...but the volumn is falling and there seems to be a selling pressure ....resistance at 0.56 so far...
