MBS is now learning from RWS to be more cautious in granting

credit to customers.    It may not be reported directly but from

'between the lines', RWS is regaining is mkt share.    Junket licences

may be granted anytime.  So, stay invested 'cos u don't know when.

There are reports that say, MBS is winning the businesses over from Genting. From the trading patterns, not many wants to pay higher to get in. Thats why large volume but little movement up...many punters want to get on it but at a cheaper price..not giving in. Thats why almost stagnant but with huge volumes.

Genting is just taking a rest.  It would not likely give up its position as a market leader (active volume leader)).  I think it has rested enough and should be top volume again soon.

Today go up 1.5cts with minor volume now. Rare to see GenSp not in top 20 Volume

If that is the case then I will have to squat long long. Not too lonely many people are still holding with GenSp share at 1.90 to 2.10. They have to contend with the 1cts dividend.

Hopefully GenSp can give drink and some durian coupon for loyal share holder.

If MBS is the gambler den then Minister Iswara should concentrate his guard there and leave GenSp alone.

1.8billion bonds oversubcribes to $6bil at 5.125% means approximately 92million per year or 0.7 cts per share.

Unless GSP cost 92mil per year, if investment can bring back 180mil per year then its good investment.

A stock I cannot understand. Why so many people willing to buy high when Genting is again borrowing with PERPETUAL preferred bonds! It definitely will dilute the stock. Maybe the next dividend will not come for a long long time! Where is the quality gamblers? It is not shown in the volume in profit generated? Why MBS don't need so many hotels to make more profits?

None of my friends make any money because they cannot read Bollinger Bands. They missed all the opportunities to sell and wait for it to raise higher? Bollinger Bands almost said sell but Auto Chartis said converging triangle.

Maybe if you have gut, buy a put option if it exist.

Genting SP: SG govt said it is reviewing the Casino Control Act and hopes to disclose more details in the 2H12. The review will look into the economic, security and social issues surrounding the two Integrated Resorts (IRs), as a recent survey on problem gambling showed that overall gambling rates remained stable but saw worrisome trend of low-income gamblers who bet large amounts. The govt also commented that raising casino entry levies on Singaporeans and PRs may not be effective as levy is not a deterrent.

Deutsche believe that any further amendments to the Casino Control Act will likely involve tightening of rules targeting at SG and PRs gamblers as efforts to limit social impact from two IRs. Other regulation closely watched is on junkets licensing, which CRA has yet to approve. In line with govt's move and measures to safeguards locals, house do not discount the possibility that junkets licensed (in future) will only be allowed to extend credit to foreign players. Overall, house maintains Hold with $1.49 TP.
