SINGAPORE: Casino and leisure group Genting Singapore said it intends to offer up to S$500 million worth of perpetual subordinated capital securities.
The securities will have a coupon rate of 5.125 per cent per annum until October 2022 and 6.125 per cent after that.
In the event of oversubscription, Genting added that it may issue up to an additional S$200 million worth of securities to satisfy the excess demand.
DBS Bank is the sole global co-ordinator for the offering and DBS Bank and OCBC Bank are the joint lead managers and bookrunners for the offering.
Just last month, Genting had launched S$1.8 billion in perpetual securities to fund its investment plans.
lol... what does the news have to do with this stock??

On Thursday, Genting SP re-tests the resistance at $1.705 and closed at $1.685 with LOW volume of 28.81 million shares traded.
An engulfing bullish line occurred (where a white candle’s real body completely contains the previous black candle’s real body). If the engulfing bullish pattern occurs during an uptrend, it may be a last engulfing top which indicates a top. The test to see if this is the case is if the next candle closes below the top of the current (white) candle’s real body.
RSI & MACD are bearish as MACD about to perform a “cross down”.
Currently prices are well above the 20/50//200 days MA at $1.655.

many times this one also caught the shortists on the wrong side ... even the big time shortists can get squeezed ...
if next week go up to 1.8.. will u feel more regret?

Genting SP seems to have found its support at $1.660. Let hopes it can rebound from here.
