frankly, i dun think Temasek is buying in at current prices.

might just be some silly rumour to prop up the share prices.

the way i read this counter, it either 1) going to plunge down at the opening tmrw morning or 2) correct upwards becos some late movers see this as a window for buying.

2) is more likely to happen. when the prices go up again, u will likely see huge volumes being sold by the remaining big boys or large retail investors, thus forcing prices down again.

elf. I have to cover any short positions within a day cos i only have a basic trading account. u'll need a SBL a/c or CFD a/c to have longer "short" positions rite?

mm yea...otherwise known as the greater fool theory. ("it climbs higher and higher and who gets caught in the end?") 

eh. it's way above its FA fair value lah, even taking into acct casino win and UK venture.

plus, look at its volumes and sudden price changes. crazy to even try TA or FA on it. it's pure sentiment, pure manipulation. the retailers are causing the 'noise'. Sieve the big guys out from them, you'll see the actual trend.

i can't say for certain but the counter is likely to have been pushed up above its fair value by the big boys. once they feel that enough retail investors have climb onboard, they sell the shares and realise the profits. i think elf has describe this as "who is left with the baby"

Hi teeth53, i got fried when i shorted at 84.5c. This counter is beyond FA/TA but congrats to whoever made money from it.

Been deep fried, another bottomless pitch down, from $1.20c to $0.955 (-0.065c) just on the slightest scary note from hong Kong. Just wondering who is going to pick up this stock(@_@) when time to pay up on 3rd to 5th days if it is going to get stuck get less then $1.19c. With a volume of 401,928,000 share changed hands.

Contrarian is all along the winner. Take care.....

 

Actually I did a "bad" trade today, it is against my discipline as a trend follower. Never short a stock on its way up. It was like a rush of blood however richly rewarded, sometimes you can develop a "feel" for the stock behaviour if you have observe it close enough. I, somehow, sense lethargy in this stock with profit takers, shortists waiting to pounce and today's overall market sentiments. Wall Street losing triple digit gains and end up closing almost flat is no joke man!

Two cents worth, I will wait for Genting to find its trading range first before getting involved again. But goodness, if there is a counter worth focusing and playing over and over again and both ways, this is it! I will resolved to "feel" for this stock!
