The PE was based on last year result...

You must look at forward PE....

Stock is forward looking .. we do not look at past glory....

Market looks for a company futher earnings......

Market do not bother if you have $$$$ but cannot make $$$$$ in the future ....

The PE is already on the high side of  119.

It's a bet and we hope that the YongNam can make it or we will all be disappointed.

Seems it's still rather bullies on this counter and the industry itself. The Edge article is rather promising too.

Pinnacle?s advice is reasonable. Keep some, sell some. For me, I will keep for a while.

For those not sure whether to cash out now, I recommend that you sell off some and hold some.

In case the price "cheong" after the report is out or contract announcement, which very likely the case, you will not be sooo heartache.

For me, I will not let go until the contract announcements are out. Potential to earn another $0.10 per share. Smiley

To Yongnam supporters,

Hold and you shall be rewarded.

Half yearly result will soon be out and YN will move up again .

Bullish sentiment for construction counters for the next 2 - 3 years.

Vested and my tp price is ALSO 0.65 ...  Smiley

Goldman Sachs has downgraded Yongnam to "neutral" from "buy", but raised its tp to $0.54 from $0.46.

Goldman Sachs analyst Yoke Fong Chee said in a note on Friday that the stock was fairly valued at current price levels, but the share price strength was likely to continue over the next few months on buoyant sector demand and expected contract wins.

12 July 2007

Yongnam Holdings (YNH SP / YNAM.SI, OUTPERFORM - Maintained, S$0.555,

Target: S$0.61)

Quick takes - Wins court case

by Lawrence Lye

Yongnam has won the Springleaf Tower court case against UOB. We are incorporating an extraordinary gain of S$11m from the write-back of the property for FY07. However, as the property has not been sold, we have excluded additional potential extraordinary gains of up to S$7m in our new forecasts. We are raising our FY07 earnings forecast by 53% to S$27.0m. Our

S$0.61 price target, still set at 20.0x CY08 P/E, is under review as there may be positive surprises coming from contracts relating to integrated resorts in Singapore as well as the Middle East. Maintain Outperform.

After the shortees cleared out, the price will rebounce.

Can consolidate now. Can both kill the Kateks and also gain after announcements.
