But for a shell co....well it can be expected since there was nothing much to generate income to for pay and other expenses. By next Q with RSP and the Vantage project, hopefully can break even which I doubt due to the start up cost for the marketing of project eg cost for show houses, mall, etc and pay for the increased headcounts. As this 2.4 mil loss...is peanuts compared to loss reported by some companies here.

Loss. $2380000.....last q....enough to buy a landed property in iskandar ??

Ok...the latest Q result nav. Noted thanks....it's way better than the old one of 4 cts which I mentioned.

the 16 cents NAV was reported from Rowsley results announcement yesterday.

there's a PDF in that announcement, flip towards the end, they reported their own NAV there bro

True....no meaning for their NAV of 4 cts now due to the fact that they have not start to price in the units for their project yet. Once they do then we may know but since its a mix use project it can be very complex esp there is a medical hospital plus when PL throw in his holding in Thomsom medical and TCM. So for the actual NAV thingy....it will take sometime to work thru. Btw where does this 16 cts you wrote come from? Mother is at 28 cts and son is at 11 cts. Please enlighten us

yes yes edwin is right, good potential in rowsley

key asset - vantage bay - is understated and undeveloped land at this point. why? because the nav does not consider work-in-progress - substantial value has been added to Vantage Bay - it is ready for sale as early as 2014

the ducks are lined up, and the potential can be realised very quickly

investors will sell house and home to buy Rowsley at 16 cents no

I am pretty sure this is because PL himself is not a good trader unlike many other successful traders in Wall Street.

However, PL himself has a good vision and foresight in businesses. That's where he made his money

Hi all, just to share a quote from PL, the man himself.

Quote:

" It's very difficult to make money from trading. People who get rich are those who buy a company, build it, run it. Most of the traders, they come, they make money, because they have this gambling instinct. They take the money and spend it. The minute they lose money, they got no money to pay up." - Peter Lim

So, what do we think he'll do with Rowsley?

From experience

Bust time property counter can plunge to 0.2 NAV

Boom time can go as high as 2.5NAV for mid to big cap and 5NAV for small cap.

So u decide mr R Will row to which extreme.

For the FA investor, here are some nos. to go by:
12.69 cents a share is the NTA of Rowsley.
14.28 is the NTA assuming all the warrants are converted.
Rowsley now trades at around 2.4X NTA.
OCBC in August valued Rowsley at 34 cents after conversion of all the warrants.
In short, Rowsley is trading at fair value now.

Personally, I think 30 or below is a good buy.  My only concern is the idiosyncracies and uncertainty of the politicians in Malaysia.
