Risktaker - thanks for the detailed analysis.

anyway, there were only a few lots done at 0.17. most trades were at 0.175 and 0.18, quite close to placement price.  i'm thinking whether to add on more exposure to this counter.

ChinaSports honor its words :) if you guys read the Q3 09 FR.

The Group also made positive progress in improving the mix of its points of sale,
by reducing the number of shops-in-shops while adding on more specialty stores
with larger display area.  Since the engagement of Fahrenheit as YELI brand
spokespersons in February 2009, the Group has received positive feedback from
distributors expressing their interests and confidence in setting up more specialty
stores.  As a result, our Group has reached its target of having a minimum of 500
specialty stores in FY2009
.

Mr Lin added, “In view of our growing specialty stores network, we are also
exploring potential collaboration with international sportswear brands to market
their products in the PRC.  If successful, this will provide additional source of
income for our Group in future
.”

They did it and got FIFA deal :)

ChinaSports will grow. Buy before too late. FR results coming :P I expect rosy as they have more specialty stores hehe

yeah but remember :) when u do business you need to have a lot of cash flow :P. The operating expenses is very high per quarter if you check. Business is not all out game you need to plan well. You have to give credit to your retailers. Remember It has 1500 retailers.

I do business before i know. You need Strong Cash Flow as you dont want to go into Heavy Debt :)

Trust me they know how to do business, I bet you soon ChinaSports may propose to go HK listing  :)

The reasons given....all eyes can see.  But the Cash&eq is 869M RMB, and when you built factory you don't pay 200M upfront lor.  It has to be progressive what.....you get what I mean ??

On 7 January 2010, Yeli Sports (China) Co., Ltd signed an agreement with Global Brands

Group to become the authorised master distributor of FIFA Collections throughout the PRC.

The collaboration with Global Brands Group to market FIFA sports and lifestyle products is

consistent with the Group’s strategy to expand its footprint in the PRC sports fashion market.

It will strengthen its product offerings and enable the Group to establish a presence in the

mid-to-high end sports fashion market. To leverage on the Group’s appointment as master

distributor of the FIFA Collections, the Groups intends to establish a distribution network for

FIFA products through the launching of FIFA modular stores and FIFA Official Event Stores,

and to promote FIFA products through advertising and promotional activities. Details of such

plans are set out in Part IV(3) of this Offer Information Statement.

Aside from the foregoing, the Group also plans to construct a new multi-complex within its existing factory, which would

include new showrooms for FIFA and YELI products. The cost for the construction of the

multi-complex is estimated to be approximately RMB 30 million.

The Group is in advanced stage of negotiation to acquire an industrial plot for the

construction of a new manufacturing facility in Fujian Province. Upon completing acquisition

of the industrial plot, the Group will commence construction of the new plant which is

estimated to take between 2 to 3 years from commencement of the works to completion. The

estimated costs of acquiring the industrial plot and construction of the new plant are between

RMB150 million to RMB180 million.

Thats the reason why share placement instead of using its own cash reserve as they are intending to built new plants :P

I am vested for long term. Good luck

Yes indeed, very strong cashflow position.  But if the cashflow is so strong, why need to do placement again (within 4 months).

Anyway, DBS issue a buy call TP 30.......the analyst is struggling to explain the above.....so lame....

also i think the credit restriction may not have that large an impact considering that they have a good cash position and have further strengthen it with a placement, showing their ability and capability to tap the capital markets for liquidity. seems they prefer to tap the capital markets rather than borrowing from banks as their loans are quite small.

Zhuge Liang Investment Funds - lets look @ china sports facts sheet

China Sportings Goods Industry is estimated to worth around RMB 66 billion in 2007, RMB 70 Billion in 2008 , RMB 70+ Billion 2009 and for 2010 we expect the industry to expand by 10-15% reaching RMB 80 Billion this year.  An increased of disposable income will give the market momentum to grow even more in the next couple of years.

Industry Market Size: RMB 80 Billion for year 2010

China Sport Mkt Cap: S$163.161M - After Share Placement

China Sport Total Share: 962,125,000

China Sport NAV: 0.195 (after dilution)

Trading range for China Sports PE ratio: 4.0 - 5.0 (after dilution)

China Sports Price: 0.185 - yesterday closing

China Sports Loans: RMB $20 million (Very insignificant, can clear off the loan anytime but I believe theres a business reasons "You loan from me I will introduce you more OEM deals - think in that direction should be right" for this small loan)

China Sports Cashflow: Estimated RBM $869 million - Strong cash reserves

Recently acquire Master Distribution for FIFA apparel.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lets do a analysis on china sports with all the given facts.

The 20 million funds injection from PI will allow China Sports to prepare itself for the coming FIFA world CUP.Building of New FIFA Official Event Stores and FIFA Modular Stores which are mainly located near or inside YELI stores. Therefore it increase consumer traffic to YELI stores as well as enhancing YELI brand equity. It will strengthen the Group’s product offerings and enable China Sports to establish a presence in the mid-to-high end sports fashion market which is in line with the group strategy. (Especially if u notice that ChinaSports is increasing its speciality stores)

We estimated the FIFA football lifestyle clothing and accessories market to worth at least US $2 billion in China. 4 main categories of FIFA Collections include apparel, headwear, footballs and bags.

more details about FIFA world CUP pls refer to http://info.sgx.com/webcoranncatth.nsf/VwAttachments/Att_18819922E49686B5482576B3002C6383/$file/CSI_Placement_Press_Release-220110.pdf?openelement

We will be expecting Chinasports to gradually gaining market share in the coming quarters. A Sharp increase of revenue is expected in the coming quarters.

ChinaSports should be trading 15-20x @ $0.80 - $1.00 in coming months.

Well still provided BB wanted to push it up :)

GOOD LUCK & Do your Own Research.

Strong Buy Recommended :)
