yesterday more than 30mil vol, today only 5mil vol.

I am hoping for a 10cents move for UPP from 0.35. I just sold off Yoma this morning so may consider pumping more into UPP if there is any announcement of the news.
Today still Myanmar play
yea all waiting for news... hopefully it can slowly continue to move up in the mean time
Yoma has a fantastic run today. I am happy.
Now, need UPP to move up. I wonder whether UPP will release the news of the power plant soon. Time is running out to 30 Nov.
0.35 cleared. chiong ah!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yup, I hope UPP will release the success of the Power Plant project soon. This will spur the move upwards. Yes, Let's Huat!
Yoma is holding on well so a breakout from the current zone will hopefully see higher price ahead.

If market U turn and UPP release some gd news to spur this, then got chance to fly
Hope we all huat ah lol
Hmmm, positive turn today? Start of something nice..............

Have decided to enter UPP at 0.345. I think it has a very nice wedge termination pattern. Let's see how it goes.
Cool...thanks for the update. The only news about the MOU is found in the SGX website under UPP announcement. But it did not mention it is a tender but a MOU signed with a local Burma partner and evaluating the feasibility of building the power plant. From the way it is stated, I thought they are almost secure, just waiting for confirmation.

I know previously they were bidding for some power plant thingy but not sure whats the MOU that they signed is abt as I cant find any official news on it. Do you have any source pertaining to it?
I have fren who are locals in Myammar, thats why i know Myammar wants to eventually build 4 power plants, and they said so far officially 1 tender already awarded out. Another 3 still no news yet
1 of their directors Tong Kooi Ong seems to have a gd track record for the previous company he helmed, so long term wise im hoping him to take care of the shareholders.

Thank you for the note. I am currently in Yoma but UPP is a stock i am looking at right now. You mentioned that UPP is bidding so the MOU signed is not that they will be getting the contract for the power plant contract?
You confident in UPP as there have been a numnber of key transactions changes for shareholders?

With Obama visiting and if looking at long term, IMHO should be good.
Myanmar currently has plans to have 4 power plants built, 1 tender has already been awarded to another CO, and apparently another 3 plants are still up for tender and UPP is bidding for 1 of it.
Still waiting for news to come out if UPP won the bid. If it wins, good. If not i guess might not move up.
Might want to wait and see how as it seems to be going lower.
Note: Im vested for long term

I am thinking of buying UPP at the current price. Any one familiar with this stock. I bought Yoma on Monday and thinking of adding UPP to my portfolio.
It looks like a big wedge forming and seem to be close to a terminination point.
UPP wants to build power plants. So can price go up?
