Counters from these sectors will most likely be the hot market darling candidates for the next bull season. Stay tuned.
...and punters like us...haha!
..... not forgetting construction companies as well.
Banks in Singapore will be the ultimate winner as far as the IRs and property boom are concerned.
Genting stock is out of radar in most of recommending broking houses' target price even before IR is actually built. It is now consider a punter stock to have a big heart for risk. It depends on the interests for the stock and its daily volume traded. Just monitor the daily volume and let the price settled before consider the stock again. Prudence
Looks like volatile Genting I has started its casino business prematurely at SGX even before its promised IR's first pile is planted.
Gyrating prices means high stake play for people who dare to place their chips down. Not for the faint hearted and newcomers, surely.
Could still be on an uptrend actually. Wait and see.
In theory, a big yes for full time day traders, in practice, a big no, as ppls always asking for more, the more the better it will. Monies i mean, nothing will stop those ppls asking for more, then greed will be breeding greed, so alway had two things in mind. No Greed and self control discipline a must..Alas human is just human, alway making mistake after mistake.....got spare $$$, (dividend) stable high yield stocks is best, years after years can collect handsome dividend.
so no one will lose money here.... either way will win...
wow so nice =)
wow so nice =)
Hi jackjames,
Contrarian will neber be lock up, neber scare, neber die. Contrarian is always the winner all along....One can buy up or buy it down with half a cent or even less in great volume. A manipulater will manipulate with huge buy / sell Q order and withdraw the last minute. A big holder will buy in, in one lot and another lot to change price it like to see and big holder will sell out when... it hit it target price, in between big boys fight big boys war and small boys fight small war. So Contrarian is always remain a winner. They do not own any shares at all. not even one share or one thousand share. Best yahh......
In my opinion this stock is not overpriced. Next wk it will bounce back to over 1.00 at least. just my opinion.
Hi brandonharrist, can impart some of your skill to us in trading this Genting? You are fantastic man!
My take is that this counter is just taking a breather. Come next week it will go up again.
I am still holding the lots I bought at 0.35, 0.515, 0.675 and 0.915. Not thinking to sell at the current level....
It was a great tussle at 0.915 and 0.92. Frankly from risk/reward perspective, not really worth it. I have very very very very strict stop-loss. My philosophy to trading is make sure your profits are bigger than your losses (obvious you say, but can never be overemphasized), then you still end up positive. Also, take what the market gives, and respect it.
brandon, i'm really impressed on how well you have done for Gen Int. others need to try their luck at the casino itself to (probably) have such good profits. you have just shown us you don't even need to be anywhere near its doors to take profits from Gen Int.
*salute* well done mate.
Do you think there is good news from Gen Int this weekend?
Hi lg1167, "long" means buying in anticipation that price will go up and then sell.
Long position closed at 0.92 (Bought at 0.885). I take what the market gives. Thank you very much.
yup, i agree with u, iPunter. the greed and foolishness of a herd of speculators cannot be understimated.cheers
