Lian Beng seems determine to test the 60 cents level .....

If Lian Beng hit 60 cents ..... Yongnam could be worth much more than the present level ?

Good job Yongnam! Well done.

But I sold at $0.51. I believe today is just a technical rebound. It will drop below $0.50 as I feel uncomfortable holding it within this period of time.

Anyway, wish all Yongnam investor HUAT!

I will invest in Yongnam again when it dip.

This is not the stock for contra.

We are in this because we see the potential and we have to hold for awhile to see it.

There is at least another 10% to gain in a few months time.

Well, wait and see.

The swing should be coming quickly back to construction sector somewhere next week before August'07.

Most likely GS and CIMB would placed a BUY signal for YongNam soon before August'07.

When it's happen, we will see YN shoot up again.

The next burst will bring it higher to the 52 weeks high.

Wait and see bro!

For developers who submitted application for which provisional permission has not been issued before 18 July 2007, the reinstated DC rates will apply. We believe that developers acquiring en bloc sites in recent months may not be in time to take the advantage of the old DC rates. Developer such as Sing Holdings Ltd, has announced that its purchase of

Based on this example, it is believe that the overall impact of the DC rates hike may not be as severe as concerned by the market. Given the buoyant property market, it is think that the overall profit margins of property developers would remain intact. The current property stocks? correction may well be a good buying opportunity for bargain hunters. Remain bullish on the Singapore property sector for 2007.

Hillcourt Apartments along Cairnhill Road in March 2007, will be subjected to the new DC rates. The earlier estimated DC was S$10.9 million, compared to the current estimate of S$15.2 million. This represents an approximately 40% jump. Despite the sharp jump, the overall land cost including DC, is expected to increase only by 1.2% from S$1,444 psf ppr to S$1,461 psf ppr. It should also be realized that the DC is only approximately 4.2% of the land cost.

Wonder if the latest news will help to recover Yongnam tomorrow??

July 18 (Bloomberg) -- Federal Reserve Chairman Ben S. Bernanke predicted American economic growth will pick up slightly next year and inflation will gradually recede.

``The U.S. economy appears likely to expand at a moderate pace over the second half of 2007, with growth then strengthening a bit in 2008 to a rate close to the economy's underlying trend,'' he said in testimony to the House Financial Services Committee in Washington. ``Core inflation should edge a bit lower, on net, over the remainder of this year and next year.''

Sellers will get less because of the revision in the development charge rates. But the revision will have minimal impact on developers, who will certainly factor in the cost in the prices they offer for the land," Mr Colin Tan, head of research, Chesterton International, told AsiaOne.

Well, developer will factor in the cost for the "seller" or the "buyer" or 50% each.
This is where the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.
