That's what BB wanted to do. Make the sell queue weaker by pushing the prices down everyday. Once those sell queue at higher prices are gone, there will be no more resistance for the run up. I see my market depth everyday. The queue is getting thinner and thinner but people still can throw shorts out. Wait till BB catch these people off guard. I think BB just need to give these shorters one time jialat jialat first then run up.

I'm seeing last minute struggle already. 2k sell down at 86. If no ppl going to sell them to cover(if those are naked shorts), they might be forced to buy up later.

Hi all, I am new here. I have to admit I am one of the longists who actually hope that Contel will go up more last week and sadly no.. T+4 or T+5 up soon for some of us who don't have much liquidity on hand. However , I do feel Terencee might be right on the RTO. Nevertheless I am reducing some holding just to be safe.. There will be tonnes of opportunities to make $$$ so don't place too much eggs in 1 basket..

all the selling down is probably due to panic unloading by people who have bought earlier (at a higher price) and wishes to cut loss. In addition short sellers are tapping along to bring the price down. Not an indication of whether the RTO will go thru. 

If the RTO is successful, what remains are all who are holding on tightly now. The supply of shares will be very limited and hence pushing the price high

 

If the RTO is not successful then we should see more volume that it is now.

I definitely agree sgx is all about taking risks, if you feel that u have done enough research and is confident then yeah by all means. It's ur money afterall and who am I to judge?

I am not holding any contel now and wasn't affected any by ur previous comments, so dont think that I have something against u. In fact I bought at 6c+ and have sold at 8+. I am happy with my profit and is not touching this counter for the time being. If RTO goes thru then good for u, but I won't be lamenting about my higher potential gains because I have chosen to lock in my profits.

On a side note, even if u are so bullish u don't have to keep making buy recommendations here. Innocent forumers may jump in without fully knowing the risks. And if u are so certain it will go up regardlessly, then just watch and let it run. Like what you say, people wont be grateful to you if it shoots up and will only blame you if it falls.

Longists shouldn't worry much.   Last Friday and today is what normally people call a shortists' market.   The shorts call the shot. Longists overwhelmed by " war today or tomorrow" NK episode but that didn't happen. Tell shortists are in fear now too not able to buy back everything cheap.

Don't stray away from your RTO belief.   It is coming and there will be a mad rush to cover.   I am still holding additional 200 lots.   Huat arh!!

I would want to ask everyone to notice the sell queue and buy queue every day. Look what is happening. Sell queue getting forced to sell lower so that when Contel chiong, there will be no resistance stopping the run up momentum. 

 

Say what you all want la hor.. When I lose, is lose my money. I win also my money. Buy only when you are comfortable la.

 

RTO so far so good. everything on schedule. You all can say I bias cos I heavily vested in this.
