I think the breakout will confirmed only if Ah Poh clears 34 cts. I take comfort from these things today today: (i) gap up, (ii) increase in vol, and (iii) counter attack failure - although i would have preferred a white candle.

As for the 4 Red & 1 Green technique, I don't normally use just one indicator but a few. But the technique sure looks pretty handy from charts. I guess we kantang supporters can only be patient, afterall most of us i believe would be sitting on good profits. :)

 

Looking into Ah Poh previous announcement details, 2007 Half-year result cum dividend announcement subjected to shareholder approval should be out on 13/Aug/2007 (???). Anyone has the exact date? Last half, Ah Poh has given out S$0.01 (highest dividend since Sep 2003). So, based on the current business situation (good comments from FA expertise), strongly believe Ah Poh supporters are definitely hoping for muck better results and a dividend of at least S$0.01.

 

So just imgaine, what will happen if the result is much better as compared to previous half, dividend is >= S$0.01c, and NEWFLOWs in coming weeks? Hope NOT day dreaming or wait for another half!

 

 

Kantang supporters sit tight and belt on ?. Get ready for the move! Look at the volume is picking up ... You guess 40c? 50c? ? is okay, as long as it moves NORTH ! 

 

No Ammo how? Get S4, if not get G4 to replenish lor ?. Keke?.me needs missiles ... where to find?

started out well today only for the price to retract back to 33.5cts. lets hope the supporters are accurate and Ah Poh can cheong to 40cts soon

 

i may sound contradicting but i based my assemenet based on data as on that time. morning the stocks volume was very low. however it did pick up in the afternoon and i changed my view. 

 

Fully agree with Cashier's assessment ... technical indicators like ADX, STS, and MFI have all turned up.

Loaded up on extra ammo and waiting for the signal. The excitement from the wait is getting unbearble ... :)

 

Volume looks interesting as it builds up today.. not hight but increasing volume for past 1 week.. maybe climbing to 40c+ soon.. 

watch out to buy when it breaks abd 0.34 with volume..

A Pennent pattern is forming classically. If TA is zhun and market is still bullish, then shortly should hit tgt price of ~0.42. Sitting on tight for the show...

 

 

I think Ah Poh has more than a dollar potential. Look at the type of businesses they are in.......... all heavy duty stuff and not selling stationary, mooncakes or toilet bowls type.... hahahha....

Much earlier in this thread, courtesy of Victorian, there was mention on the acquisition of land parcel by PohTC which would subsequently developed into industrial plots that could either be (i) sold for a one-time lump sum profit or (ii) rented out to secure another stream of income for the company. The assesstment leans towards (i) which means there coud be an attractive payout to shareholders in the FY08 and FY09 timeframe. This is strictly speaking not a punting stock.

 

wow...next 3 years? does tat means its not for short term as in 1-2mths?
