LMA has today launched its next generation laryngeal mask the LMA Supreme

Mr John Lim, LMA?s Executive Deputy Chairman, said: ?The LMA Supreme

In Singapore, LMA is working with large restructured Govenment hospitals and with the Singapore Society of Anaesthesiologists to introduce the device to the local medical community through training seminars and hands-on demonstrations.

At a recent address to anaesthesiologists in Singapore, Dr Naville Chia, President of the Singapore Society of Anaesthesiologists said, "The various LMA airway management devices that have been introduced have tremendously influenced and changed our practice of anaesthesia in Singapore. Besides the increasing and widespread use of LMA airway management devices in current clinical practice, a major achievement for LMA is its inclusion in the algorithm of the American Society of Anaesthesiologists as a rescue airway device in 1993.?TM in Singapore. The first single-use airway offering gastric access available globally, the LMA SupremeTM has been rolled-out to key international markets over the last four months.TM sets a new benchmark in airway management innovation. As one of our many products manufactured in Singapore, we are assured of its superior quality and product reliability. We see tremendous growth potential for this device and we have already received good response from practitioners in markets where the LMA SupremeTM has been introduced.?

Many thanks for all the "soothing" and"encouraging" responses.  TA and FA seem "meaningless"in LMA.   When TA shows that it shd uptrend soon, the opposite happens. Looks like LMA will take some time to recover.  Has become a speculative counter even though its fundamentals are good.

I agree that Fundamentally, it is a sound company with good medical products.  Good support at $60.5.  Risk reward ratio is now very attractive at current levels.

What goes up fast will come down faster! That was what happened to LMA at  0.685 and shot-up to 0.72 without any rhythm & reason. The only news available so far is 'CEO resigned'. The Market (opportunists) takes the 'sell on news' to hit the counter hard making it looks bad on the resignation. If I were you, I'll take it as an opportunity to accumulate! LMA will still be in business as usual even without the CEO as no one is indispensible in today's Global Economy! Of course, if more resignations follow, then that'll be a BIG PROBLEM.

All said, what comes down,  in this case, have to go up and could be stronger! Cheers!

Any learned member would like to cast light on why LMA is "underperforming". (can't perform better than penny stocks with weaker fundamentals)  When will it be able to get out of  the valley, (LMA mgt is confident that 2007 will be better than  2006) ?

for those LMA die hard fans, this must be really tiring battles, drop so fast back to 0.605... yeah, really stay there for ages ... quite pity..

Based on TA, LMA has been consolidating for ages, and  shd not have been bashed down today.  Although it will rebound,  it will seesaw for some time more before it attempts a break out to the next support level. As the placement holders have an interest in LMA, they shd be supporting their own counters, like those of other share placement holders.  Alas they are not.

looks like investors giving the thumps down! stock down 10% already from yesterday.  Definitely a dent on its recent bull run - will sell some if price goes below 61 cents.

the old man and founder of LMA, Group Chairman Gaines-Cooper taking over as CEO...  looks to me like Michael Ashton, who was appointed CEO LMA only in Dec 06 may not performing to "expectations".. I remain vested and in fact bought a few more lots..

When a CEO resigned the 'polite' reason given is always " personal reason or interest " . If that is the case, it is more often 'ask to leave' politely! Sometimes it is good to have new blood injected in a Company that is not performing as 'expected'. Whatever the case, you've to put your ears to the ground and hear what the new CEO intends to inject new 'ideas' into the Company. Cheers!
