An 'underdog' (judged old and supposedly unpromising), was given an immediate 'thumbs down'
attitude from the start...

It is only when they realised her true worth that there was the immediate 180-turn in their attitude and emotion appreciation! .. but not before!...

iPunter, don't get your msg; care to explain what you're upset about?

I thot it was "funny" watching the before/after responses of the people (esp Simon rolling his eyes after the "age" part).  Thot it was "good" cos the contestant did a superb job.  Overall, I thot the video illustrated the mistake of ageism/stereotype.  I luv it!

Just compare the treatment those idiots (including all the idiots who gave her the same reception)
before and after, and you'll at least agree a little with my strong opinion (idiots)...

There's more to life than meets the eye. this world is not all about, power and $materialism... Smiley

The Ultimate Trading Indicator.

Its very common people perceive complexity as high value, good quality or label as "advanced". The keyword today in trading is "indicators, indicators, indicators".

So which indicator is the best?

We must have the correct mindset in trading. How can I get involved, survive, and then ultimately take a profit?

Any intelligent fool can make things more complex and harder to solve. It is the genius who is willing to go in the opposite direction. Remember, genius is the ability to make the complex simple.

This is not to take away from gentlemen like George Lane who developed the stochastic. The stochastic measures a closing price and price range over a period of time.

The novice will use the indicators to try to figure out the market. The experienced trader will use it as a tool in his decision making process. But how much value should he place on it? Does he use it as the leader in his trading decisions? The answer, no.

What is the ultimate trading indicator? The leader is simply price. Price is the " King " All other indicators should follow. The application is, as always, price and time.

Is this indicator being applied to a suitable time frame and price range?

Learn to understand how to evaluate the relationship between price and time by using only price as an leading indicator.

BY.- StressFreeTraders.com Success in stock trading starts by applying wiser and REALISTIC tactics for choosing small cap stocks. Profitable traders tend to think more realistically towards the market. They know they can benefit when stocks go up and also when they FALL down. It doesn't matter if the stock market is UP or down. There are always going to be certain small cap stocks with positive or negative momentum that you can buy or short sell, either in pre-market hours, regular market hours or in the after hours session. Lucrative trades can take anywhere between 3 and 20 minutes. And in some occasions You will be able to ride a very good stock for a full day or more. The 'purest' indicator is the price itself .... price does not lag ......its current ,  it doesn't lie.

Study the price structure (chart patterns and candlesticks ) together with volume ....

All other indicators are derived from mathematical operations on price/volume ... therefore indicators are lagging .

It is everyones wish that indicators could guide us .. so we look at the indicators first then at the price chart , when the reverse is true.

The correct way to read charts is to read the price chart first and determine if the price is trending up or down or moving sideways ..and then look at the appropriate indicatorsfor the signals and guidance ...

Not an expert on TA... still learning... but just sharing what i had distilled so far about chart reading ... perhaps our Sifus and Gurus could give us a better discourse ..

Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (Iras)

Fun fact #4

What do you think is the Government's biggest source of income?

It is company taxes which brought in $9.3 billion last year. It is almost one quarter of all taxes collected and the bulk of it - $7.5 billion - comes from the big boys: firms which earned more than $5 million last year.

Next was GST. It brought in $6 billion. In third place were individual income taxes at $4.5 billion, followed by stamp duties at $3.7 billion.

In fifth place was property tax at $2.1 billion.

Almost all comes from residential, commercial and industrial buildings. HDB property tax accounts for just 4 per cent of the total.

Do you want to bet on sixth place? Yes, it is gambling duties and that is a story in itself.
