Hi, noobie here. Is Swiber affected by the ban in gulf of Mexico offshore activities?

Ban on offshore drilling activities in Gulf of Mexico has been extended for another 6mths bcos of BP oil leak. So Swiber business - services to offshore drilling - will be badly hit! Likely to drop < 90c at the rate its falling. |

push down to collect cheap..
scare tactic..
It appears that someone is pushing this counter downward....
This week seems to be down down and away.....close to 90cts liao
Oh... I should put in this way.....with the Fifa World Cup coming in Jun 2010....market will slow down. Ppl will pin all this hope with Singapore pool liao.
Keep your cash for now and wait for opportunity (sign of upward) in the next 1-3 weeks time....
iPunter is right.
Swiber's chart is not very promising now.
It's better to wait for a couple of days and see how things turn out.

I suppose many chart veteran readers will agree that the chart picture does not appear very promising at all... But charts only record things up till the last session. What will happen tomorrow, no one can be certain, or even reasonably certain... :)

Any idea how the chart is saying? Down some more? Anyone can enlighten me? Thousand thanks. |

freeman, try not to bottom-fish yet. Many got burn the last time during the financial crisis doing that. Instead of solid rebounds they thought they had, it turned out to be dead-cat accompanied by a falling knife. |

now is juz asking when tt time of rebound will come...
I sold at a loss long long ago. "Big Wok" if you still holding it. Some think it is undervalued laggard stock and waiting for it to fly multibagger but i think it's a value trap. I don't trust their recent big contract wins. I only believe what i see in their operational performance and it isn't pretty.
I think better to take a small loss than wait hope for better tomorrow. just an opinion, not advice to buy or sell.
