k thanks, shplayer.

doing a simple FA calculation here:

Osim's previous year's NAV was 36c per share, it traded approx between 1.4 to 2. So ratio is abt 3.8-5.5x. We take a lower end estimate of 4x, this year's NAV is 30c per share. So fair value = 1.2. Lowest estimate =1.14 using 3.8x.

I'd estimate resistance at abt 1.11.

fyi analysts' call for osim ranged from 88c to $1.26.

is sporeguy here? wld like him to make a call on its resistance and supports....or if anyone else is able to?

hm...singaporegal, have been following this baby. think it's uptrending already, but would be cautious since it hasn't reported its FYE yet. might trigger another panic selldown if there's something untoward that hasn't been factored in its drop....

didn't think the upside was worth tho....plus, there's been quite a lot of large sell orders...

Singaporegal...

Yup... you are so right there... :)

I agree with you that price action with volume clues are indeed superb aids in predicting probable direction of a move...

Anyway... do you have any fav or intersting counter to highlight right now in the new year?... :)

Annual report is coming out 22/2/7. How do u all think this will affect the price, since all the bad news have already factored into the all time low price now. I don't want to kana play out by the big boys!

All indicators, whether TA or FA, merely give us clues to future price action. They are tools that help us "predict" what's going to happen.

Actual price and volume action is ultimately the king, of course. There is no denying that.

ipunters, u too quick to judge what singgal said. she is correct to say wait a few days to confirm the reversal trend.. i am monitoring this counter and i believe it is bottoming out too. however a correction will make it bottom out even more..

I would reckon a "bottoming out" should be evidenced by a more reliable pattern/s than indicators alone can tell.

It is chart patterns that reveal the action of investors, not indicators, as such.

I use the Acc/Dist chart which shows that it has stopped downtrending.

Also, the Chaikin chart shows an uptrend. These are clues that it may have bottomed out.

Let's see what happens in the next few days.
