There is huge churning and trading going on. CK is making money so as to subscribe for the rights issue. The next round will be even more fierce. Stock is cornered anyway. I kicked myself for selling for small profit and did not expect the huge run. I should have known better .It's the inversed. Usually, the price has already been pumped up before announcement so this is really the exception rather than the norm. I was betting on 80% down and 20% up.
Those that buy now better be prepared to pay up for the rights cos trading profits vs risk is no longer balanced. The PE ratios of he counter is now higher than Swiber etc.......the fundamentals have to catch up to justify the pricing.
For myself, I would prefer now to wait for the dust to settle and buy the rights. instead or if the mother share comes down to a more realistic level, re-enter to be entitlted for the rights.
I can be wrong .........but this maid is really a runaway maid. LOL

Be patient, once hit 1.20... It'll climb liao...
losing steam... intra morning high 1.18c. Time to start dumping.
Ex-rights is more than 30 days. Lots of things can happen then

the last time, dow future was down 168 pts...i sold out 70%, lost much more than yours, the next 2 days faster buy back...
good that you put your $ to work elsewhere...i see good days ahead..hope your counter soar, for you to take revenge on the mrkt...dont worry u will make it up...

very very sad.. Wanted to buy Mermaid at $0.95 today, no time to log in and buy... My Guocoleisure sold far far too early at 0.53. What is wrong with me =(
