take a look at yanlord charting, keep dropping since 29Jul2009.   No sign of reversal, making lower lower & lower high each time it try to reverse.   if u have spare cash to get trap in this stk, it good to try your luck n see if bb suddenly got interested in this china property king or china suddenly stop its property cooling measure......

ok, YanLord chiong ah!!!
Can explain why 1.52 was the support? bec it was the lowest price for the past 1 yrs (in May 10)?  Wanted to learn more  =)

Seems yanlord has hit support at 1.52 this morning and rebounded....if tomorrow a white candle then probably a short term reversal...??

so angry.....Yanlord only drop 1 ct despite STI's 50 pts plunge and DOW's 166 plunge fri nite,  Yanlord never drop below 1.50.
All my buy queue at 1.52- 1.49 all not filled

Yanlord is likely to break its support of $1.50 since DJIA dive 166 pts.. Commodity stocks seems to be on a bargain due to recent pullbacks...

cosco will surely outperformed nol..........
oredi vested in cosco at average 1.26 last year.
when i bot cosco last year at 1.20-1.28, all the analysts were giving sell calls with price targets like 61 ts to 70ish cts and all the forumners were posting cosco is a condemend stock in 2010, they say wait till 2011 when it bottom then can start buy            but cosco now aoredi above $2 instaed.
i'm seeing the came for yanlord now............
bullets ready, maybe I wanna take out my 1 $40K FD from UOB next mth, now POSB current account only left 34K(THIS MEANT FOR SHARE TRADING/INVESTING)
jonathan_chua ( Date: 31-Jan-2011 00:20) Posted:
COSCO & NOL are shares to watch as there are lots of upside ahead. They are potential and should bring good profits in the next few quarters as economy begins to pick up. Especially NOL- blue chip with a healthy financial position & a strong back-up from temasek hldgs... even if u have bought , do consider re-entering when corrections... Yanlord seems to be an unpredicted share. when the market started coming out of the 08 crash, yanlord was 1 of the few stocks to go ahead of its peers. it shot up so quickly mostly becos of speculations.. so it is time for other stocks to pick up while it drops....

there are always a higher risk in investing china stocks.
Moreover,  property sector are not in favour for 2011...
better to invest on commodity related stocks (Noble, GoldenAgr...) or cheap shipping liners(NOL, COSCO...)

I still have $34K left in my stocks trading capital, I'm actually very tempted to use this remaining 34K to buy more Yanlord lots to hold for 1 year.......(still remembered Yanlord took a shockingl- short 8 mths to rise almost 600% last time).
I m still a bit undecided now
Currently I now hold 8 lots yanlord and some blue chips.
Of course I'm not expecting another    similar 600% increase in yanlord's share price in less than 1 year again but many said(including my own view) , A 20% to 50% increase in yanlord's price in 12 mths time looks extremely likely .
Actually got 1 forumer pmed me he thinks very strongly at least a 100% increase in yanlord's price in 1 year, let alone just 20-50%........he said he very heavily invested. |

Yes i think it may happen. Maybe not total suspension but a change of company name, like what is happening to sino env now.
Companies like yellow pages, citiraya, creative, sunshine, chartered  used to be a big hype but now become quiet.

China is  introducing annual property tax and it will affect those holding many units by a lot as they cant afford to let their units stay vacant  anymore.

since yanlord is more into luxury tier housing, so why then did Yanlord drop so much this few days due to the cooling meaures?
AND in comparison, Yingli which always underperformed yanlord in the past, but even Yingli this past week seems much more resilient than yanlord......

I think there will continue to be cooling measures until the mass market housing has gone down to affordable prices. Yanlord is in the luxury residential tier and caters to the ultra rich group. This group has crazy lot of $$ and they can more than afford it even with all the cooling measures. I think Yanlord will be among the least affected compared to other property developers. From what I can see among other quality stocks, Yanlord is probably the most worthwhile stock to buy at rock bottom price.. |

By when roughly, u guys think china's property cooling measures will have ceased?
My broker say his guess is by April this year.......what do u guys think?
Me currently vested 6 lots yanlord at average 1.65 and some other stocks.
I still have about 85K idle cash but I'm willing to use about only another $60K to buy stocks., I just prefer to put e remaining $25K in FD and banks in case of I need urgent money. But currently I have no family financial burden.
I'm actually very tempted to plough in all my this $60K to buy yanlord on Mon if it were to drop further, what do u guys think? |
