Honestly, vested many years and have seen it up and down.   Point is can buy when it is cheap and sell when it is dear.   NTA means nothing to me.   I have also bough negative NAV counters, so Nta or nav is no big deal . It is whether the company is properly run and will be run that matters.   Hahaha!!
Fully disagreed with yr view. Sound like you are  vested and

Why pay so high when you can get cheaper later if it is still worthing investing.

Never look the NTA or NAV in the eye because it is just a variable value that can go up with the business, I think.
Because the NAV cannot buy another YZJ nor duplicate one.   Hahaha!!

Only have a look when it is near to its NAV.Otherwise avoid and take dividend first.

So the HTM yangzijiang is investing in falls under " 5~15% 城 市 发 展 债 " ?
5-15% is very high and if the loan is given to government bodies, chances of bad debt is pretty low I suppose? What's stopping every cash rich company from taking up this form of HTM investment? (I don't see Cosco doing this)

Shortists must see profit in their books so must push down to equalize the loss in dividends. That is why 96cents less 5 cents becomes 91 cents.   But this will be temporary because shortists will like to cover and buy more extra waiting to push up.
Everyone knows that the Executive Chairman himself bought 1000 lots @0.99 in late Jan 13 is  the shareholders' confidence booster.
Otherwise they might have problem of selling the warrant at conversion price of $1.50
Hahaha!!

if you are given 5% dividend, the share price drop 5%, if you are given 10% dividend share price drop 10%?  don't give you dividend is the best.
Base on short selling marking, yest short sell volume is high almost 40%.
So if those who collect div hold and not sell,   the price will go up else you are sharing div with those short selling
Otherwise they might have problem of selling the warrent at convertion price of $1.50

More than that. Yields are natural ingredients coming out from the fruits of success.   On top of that there is the appreciation perspectives of a solid business. Think of YZJ hitting $2.00 in the not too distant future.   Hahaha!!

after taking 5% dividend, do you want to give this  5% away by selling your share at 5% lower?  What logic?
Oh ok, I thought it's  RMB4.3. Anyhow, it's near it's asset value.  The counter will probably do better if they use the cash to buy back shares instead of put into HTM assets.
Come to think of it YZJ reminds me of Singapore, Government borrow CPF money to buy Asset so that the dividends from the lending can cover the CPF interest with surplus. But some citizens feel that it is better those money return back to the owner asap.

From the book - Share Investment, it stated that NAV was abt $0.75.
0.875 is probably at their Nett asset value. Sound like really a good buy, it's like using $1 note to buy $1 coin and the $1 coin yields a $0.05 dividend. :)
This is like a jinx counter for me, the more I load the more it drops, however dividends does provide  good cushion thus far
