
As  soon as the top is granted , any profit from the project can be recognised. How to expect must be 100%. The previous project in Sydney was  90% sold and SL purposely kept some good units, penthouse and sold them for higher margin  ( another 10% according to mgm in one agm ). In spore no need to wait till top.
Residential development although 90% sold but if not 100% sold cannot recognize the profit.....
  -- not sure about this... thought it's when 100% completed and TOP then can recognise...last qtr report said expect significant gains... ? Anyone can verify?

I was wrong...this boat going to leave soon too.....high was more than 70+ cents recently......
 
This stock still so weak...others have cheong so high already....
Medium and long term should be good...short term not too sure.....
Only good about this stock is hotels value at cost and hence NAV should be much higher......
Redevelopment at it hotel sites not sure will be delayed by  the flood or not???

Office rental is another plus site at rent in Perth will consider to rise and so is the value  of the office properties....
Hotel business so so I think...Residential in NZ is 50% sold and 50% rental.....need to wait as well...

Ow should be the first insider who knows the intrinsic value of SL, for sure he won't overpay for his purchase for the sake of supporting the share price.
He is supporting the share price...not bad....
Chairman Ow is the one who decide dividend payout, so he is giving hint.
May be it's like the previous Furama, one day buys over all the shares. It's like a family biz, like Fragrance. we are actually giving them money to build their palace.
There was an indian restauranteur said to me, I won't buy shares because one is only giving it's own money to others to do biz, and what are they doing, you don't really know..............this is really true for many china companies come to think of it.
So we shall follow suit, about 60cts still not a bad price, may be one day will pase the previous high...

Chairman bot again, 300K @0.61. He wants more and more.
Back to the level where Chairman Ow bought weeks ago.
Since OCK started his open mkt purchase, this is his biggest vol buy up  (500lots) and at the highest price (60.6c).
1st Tranche he bought from 16sep to 8oct10, share price moved from 49.0c to 55.0c.
2nd tranche from 15 to 29nov10, price was stagnant at ard 57c to 58c.
Now he buys in at 60.5c.......will he create another catalyst for price movement?

Trending lower each day...:( think don't go against the trend for now.........no sign of flood easing :(
Will this guy close lower.......trending lower each day although it is good fundamentally....perhaps people woory about the flood and tourists will avoid aust when the flood and affecting so many cities....
Now is a good time to buy into this gem...correct from 0.725 to current 0.635.....
When it recognize the profit from the sale of 2 residential properties site in Sydney, the profit will be very significant......
Seems like Melbourne and Sydney are not affected by flood, only some towns near the border are affected...
And Queenstown start rebuilding....
SL will do well as it RNAV is very much higher than current share price...not to mention the redevelopment of the hotel sites in Sydney and perhaps Brisbane...
As the city redevelop, SL's hotel site can be redevelop as well....
Investors should look at the intrinsic value of this counter and should not sell away just because the recent weather disaster. Believe strong support at $0.64.
The hotels in Brisbane is comfirmed affected...for how long is anyone guess...I would think it is at least six months until visitors start visiting Queensland again...
The flood is affecting sone towns in New South Wales and Victoria as well...what is important is that will it affect Sydney and Melbourne??? We need to monitor it closely...and will the development plan in Sydney's hotel site be affected....
Things do not seems good at the moments with so many uncertainty...it is quite bad or else sl should easily worth more than $1...:( :( :(
I hope the flood only affect towns in NSW and Victoria and will not spread to Melbourne and Sdyney....
