Hmmm!! thats was the problem as under the AGM notice's footnote, coy didn't remind all that "pse save the world, don't bring plastic bags pse" Ha ha.  BTW, when the President pre-warn any last question pse, leave your seat n go toilet lah. Ho ho. One thing is that AK don't like makan, but drink, beer. Normally, if there is no beer served, I will go to the nearest place for a good glass of cold beer, for those who know AK, cheers.

ya ak, your observation is valid. I recalled two well attended Agms at different hotels last year, the buffetts were very good. Too bad, i was too talkative with the directors after the agm QnA that by the time i went out for food, nothing left, not even coffee. I could only sillily watch the rests munching away gleefully.

do you notice those who come for food in mind only usually sit nearest to where the food is... but that's fine since we are all shareholders and get to be served free food only once a year.

some companies purposely had agms at their Tuas factories which they knew few shareholders would show up... purposely to deter them from coming but on the other hand, it helped to cut cost and boost the bottom-line.

Ha 178, thats a good one, " only coffee and tea were served n not enough". If that is the trend of coy's hospitality, the meeting place would not be overcrowded leow.

Hence, it is the practice that generous coy will not make known that there is free buffet and souvenior available for the meeting. If not ah, meeting room no place to sit leow. AK abovementioned remarks is not to humulate anyone attending the meeting, just my observation for big meetings. My apology. Cheers.

attended one agm yesterday... plenty of coffee but only limited teabags... those health-conscious aunties kept asking for where's the tea. Secretary thought most people prefer coffee in the morning and few people requested tea last time. Lucky for me, tea or coffee no problem... just drink and enjoy it.

If you are the share holder, then you can go straight to the meeting on the stipulated  timing. Normally, the timing is meant for registration of share holder. The counter there will verify your identity. Attire is casual. Cheers.

Thats was a good buy. Div is 30cents for 2H07 and proposed 25cents as special cd. EGM is on 25 Apr 08 at 1445hrs at Four Seasons Hotel ballroom, level 2. Pse note that shareholders are to second the proposed div during the meeting. I will be there,if there is nothing tie me down. Genting AGM is in the morning, better don't attend, no good perks given leow, lost money and worst borrow money some more, via Right Issue, sigh.

Fluctuation provides some buying in opportunities. Noticed that the dividend payout at 50cts. If dropped below 10, sure good buy. Got 2 lots at 10.02 yesterday, hope it will turned out good.

Results coming out on 24 april.

Lesson learnt. I woke up early the morning to check DJI first. Heng ah I withrawn all the Q, except one lot SPC to test water. I think must stay sideline for this week leow, as market quite dull leh. Moreover, today dipped 53 pts, without  any very very bad news around except given the reason of profit taking.

Can't do anything tomorrow, PM need to go NUH for electromyography on my both hands.

Secured S$74.8MM turnkey contract: positive datapoint for environmental engineering division

? Secured ?34MM waste-to-energy turnkey project: Keppel Corp announced that Keppel Seghers, the environmental technology division of Keppel Integrated Engineering (KIE), has
secured a ?34MM (S$74.8MM) turnkey contract for a Combined Heat and Power (CHP) waste-to-energy (WTE) plant to be completed in 2010. The plant is owned by Amotfors Energi in Sweden. We see this contract win as a positive data point for the environmental engineering division moving forward.

? Keppel Seghers to take 22% stake in Amotfors Energi for S$8.1MM: Keppel Seghers will take a 22% stake in this company for a combined equity investment and shareholders? loan of
35.2MM Swedish Kroners (S$8.1MM). This latest contract highlights Keppel Seghers? leverage on its WTE capabilities in making continual outreach in taking up environmental projects overseas.

? We trim our Dec-08 PT to S$16: We reiterate our OW rating but trim our Dec-08 SOTP PT to S$16, largely to reflect the change in market prices of its listed entities. At current price levels, O&M is trading at 9.1x FY08E and 8.7x FY09E earnings. Keppel will pay
a 55-cent dividend in May 2008, yielding 5.6%. Assuming a payout ratio of 60%, the stock is trading at a yield of 5.4% FY08E and 6.1% FY09E. Key risks include a slowdown in contract
momentum in the O&M segment and project cost overruns.
