Not enough strenght to move upwards. Think it will go down to test $5.32...
Yes should also track the warrants since they are more affordable.
The chart does looks good and the uptrend strength quite strong too.

0653 GMT [Dow Jones] STOCK CALL: CLSA upgrades Wilmar International (F34.SG) to Buy from Outoperform and raises its target to S$6.92 from S$6.07, now based on FY13 earnings and implying " an undemanding" 16.5X P/E vs 5-year average of 17.1X. The house says " with all engines go, we fully expect Wilmar to report a set of strong 3Q numbers" thanks to a strong set of results from both the Palm and Oilseeds processing segments for this quarter. For palm it says the segments profitability tends to follow CPO prices with a 3Q lag, and with CPO prices on an uptrend three quarters ago, " we expect to see improvements in PBT/ton this quarter." The house doesn't expect any negative trading surprises for Oilseeds, and expects profitability to be " stable to strong" for the quarter. For consumer pack, it says soybean prices have corrected significantly, which should help reduce feedstock prices, and coupled with a 5% increase in sale prices in August, should see " strong quarter-on-quarter margin reversion." Shares are down 1.3% at S$5.40. (matthew.allen@dowjones.com)
Guess that explains its resilience lately...

      Value is merely a perception...

...Wilmar down 2.1%   GoldenAgri -0.8%   Noble -4%
as mentioned, market players’ perception of commodity-related stocks are no good at the moment... given uncertain global economy......may get weaker for a while before recovery...
This stock looks very weak after today's ation.
you are right...to most market traders/players, all prices are just numbers, it's a number game, big or small, plus or minus, playing up and down depend on whatever news/events
good NAV will only make them show more interests to play in these stocks, like   STI component stocks,,, there is no need or responsibility for them to make sure the stock price must be equal or higher than that....BUT at least they dare not crash it to 10cts...or 1cts lah...you scared or not....hahaha...that's why you see bargain hunters always come in during market crisis for those stocks....

Yah I agreed. But sometimes when come to stock market it doesnt really reflect the actual value of the company. U can see singtel and capitaland as one of the example. same to noble and olam...

Market player's perception of commodity stock is not very good at the moment because of uncertainty in global economy...for trading the ride is very rough for the time being...BUT
Wilmar's NetAssetValue now is $7.50, Noble is $2.70 and GolderAgri is $2.00...if figures extracted correctly....
i might be wrong..
but it's ok :)

Kuok's family will be " shell shock" &   you will probably be so scared to buy at that price and " waiting for it to break $2 support.... " LOL.
