But we still have to look at tml's preopen market to determine the bulls and bears for Contel
big boys know this piece of news in advance, thus the down today.

THE PROPOSED ISSUE OF 4,333,577 NEW ORDINARY SHARES IN THE CAPITAL OF CONTEL CORPORATION LIMITED
1. INTRODUCTION
The Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Contel Corporation Limited (the “Company”) wishes to announce that the Company intends to allot and issue new ordinary shares (the “Shares”) to Stamford Law Corporation (”SLC”) in satisfaction of the professional fees owing to SLC in the amount of S$270,415.26 by way of a private placement (the “Proposed Placement”).
2. PROPOSED PLACEMENT
2.1 Principal Terms of the Proposed Placement
(a) The Company has on 9 April 2013 entered into a settlement agreement with SLC (the “Settlement Agreement”) that the invoices issued by SLC for the period between 16 July 2011 and 6 July 2012 for an amount of S$270,415.26 (the “Legal Fees”), being professional fees for services rendered by SLC as legal adviser to the Company for the period between 16 July 2011 and 6 July 2012 be fully and finally settled by way of allotment and issuance of 4,333,577 Shares (the “Placement Shares”) to SLC at an issue price of S$0.0624 per Placement Share (the “Issue Price”).
(b) The volume weighted average price of the Shares for trades done on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited (the “SGX-ST”) on 9 April 2013 (being the full market day on which the Settlement Agreement is entered into between the Company and SLC) was S$0.0693 per Share.
(c) The Issue Price represents a discount of 10% to the volume weighted average price of S$0.0693 for trades done on the Shares on the SGX-ST on 9 April 2013 (being the full market day on which the Settlement Agreement was entered into between the Company and SLC).
2.2 Shareholders Mandate for the Issue of the Placement Shares
(a) The Placement Shares will be allotted and issued pursuant to the general shareholders’ mandate to issue new Shares not exceeding 50% of the issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) of the Company as at the date of the Company’s annual general meeting held on 31 August 2012 (“AGM”), of which the aggregate number of Shares to be issued other than on a pro-rata basis shall not exceed 20% of the then issued share capital (excluding treasury shares of the Company) (“General Share Mandate”).
(b) The Proposed Placement will be undertaken as a private placement in accordance with Section 272B of the Securities and Futures Act (Cap. 289). As such, no

my gut feel... pattern tmr will be same as today.. short sell in opening hours with strong buy later

for the unvested, if i were them, i will wait till it drop to 0.05-6, and enter. if never drop, and show signs of uptrend, i will enter at 0.07.
if all gone case, treat it as paying school fees. focus on the next stock and move on.

Two things I would change ..... hmmm ......
1. Probably listen to what Suze Orman said in her books IE only buy stocks that you know of........More than 95% of my stocks I traded are all rumored based.
2. Have a stop loss and profit target .......... at the moment I am just basing them on gut instincts.......oh well.
Consistent theme .............. hmmm ........ I realized I only deal with penny stocks. (The fund managers of my unit trusts probably invest in blue chips anyway so I ain't so keen with blue chips stocks per se.)
Good questions ...........make me think.

True, I am also one of those still " trapped" with China Gao Xian ...... not sure when trading un-suspended.
But over the last 8 years of playing stocks, at this point of writing, when I clicked on my " realized profit/loss" , after hundreds of trades - it is now showing a loss of 5k. While my unit trusts have been profiting over the years ........ my stocks(over this period of time)shows that it ain't no investment.
But unfortunately (or fortunately as one might see it) .... I am still playing it because the thrill of getting that 5 digit profits once in a while is just exhilarating. Of course getting hit with a 5 digit loss is also a downer. So does that make me a high risk gambler? perhaps.
Perhaps when I reached my 40s......my attitude will change. At this point of time I am hooked.
Contel wise ........I hope it rises .........vested.

i started trading and got burnt by once a stock called China Gao Xian.. it cheong from 20 cents to almost 50 cents before dual listing.. after dual listing it dropped dead from 44 to 33 in one day..
i whacked and got screwed very badly..
i cut on the second day of plunge (i still blaming my noobness for holding despite such a heavy drop on a penny stock)..
wanna know where's that stock now? it dropped to 20 cents and now got suspended..
Of course... this is the worst case, cause i think contel wont get suspended.
but do note that it's always possible for contel to drop back to 2 cents.. and it is also possible for contel to go back to 20 cents like last year..
Pls... for ur own sake, do have a plan when u trade penny..
unless u tell me.. nvm la even if it gets suspended (worst case) i also wont bother, then u are fine. |
