BTW, there's no need to "belief" anyone else's method.... because if you have found a method that works for you, thats GREAT! Just keep using it and ignore what other people try to preach to you.

Different investing methods work for different people. I know for sure FA doesn't work for me because I just don't have the aptitude for it. Not enough IQ ........  :)

My firm belief is that TA cannot be applied effectively to low volume counters. Because TA sort of measures "herd" mentality, therefore the larger the trading volume the more effective it is.

There could be some cases where TA has been applied and it worked on low cost/ low volume counters but I believe those are exceptions - meaning, it may not work as often as higher volume counters.

My 2 cents..

Different people have different tactics in equities trading.

As long as you are consistantly making money, you are doing the correct way.

As the Chinese saying goes:

八仙过海, 各仙神通.

(Eight immortals crossing the sea, each immortal has his/her unique technique).

But I believe in the often quoted principles:

TA is for short term traders. FA is for long term investers.

Both are useful, depending on whether you are a trader or invester.

And also if trading volume is very low, TA cannot be applied. Try it on Zagro if you do not believe.

 

Interesting, I learnt from the TA expert in this forum that TA is not suitable for BW!! But then another 'guru' came out to prove otherwise!!!

I'm only interested in FA since day one.. I'll let the TA expert and TA 'guru' to trash this out!

 

As for FA, BW is good, imagine they havent even enter China Market yet less HK and their performance is areadi pretty good.

Good to hold for long term as prospect is good.

 

To me, both nosta and singgal are good TAist!
