so many properties stalled in China and the govt is curbing the heat. rich China chinese move their target outside china, they are looking even at London.
Although china's pop is huge but look at those asparugus cluster of condos, I don't think many common chinese can afford.
China property buble was mentioned a few times
Properties in china would have a big profit only for certain location.
What happened? Already drop more than fibo 61% from its high and still not stopping !
Its the best way to go broke if one stubbonly thinks that a company will continue to do well when in reality it will not. I still feel that this company is different from those run-of-the-mill China companies. And I am thinking of increasing my bets. But of course I may be wrong. That's why I appreciate, and also to the benefit of the other long term investors, somebody to prove us wrong  based on  clear hard facts about the company.

Actually just to share what I read somewhere (I think was their annual report). This company is actually won awards by SIAS as  one of  the most transparent foreign-listed companies in Singapore. Its bond rating of Baa (a very good rating for corporate bonds) also speaks volumes about the health of its balance sheets. So yes. I am not the least concerned about them cooking up their books, and I am super bullish about their future. And I believe it is a matter of time that the stock prices will follow suit.

Simply buying and holding any good stock
for the long term is the best way to invest.
Averaging down all the way is best way to go broke...

I really hope they never go private. This is a great business and I hope to keep the stocks for a long time to come. I believe in what CEO Zhong said, that the next 30-40 years will be China's golden age for property, despite all the cooling measures.
Although many long term investors for this counter (me included) are badly " burnt" by the huge paper losses we see, I am comforted by the fact that CEO Zhong, being the largest shareholder (65%), is still so confident of the future prospects as to take to risk to borrow more money (US$400M senior notes at 10% p.a) at such high cost to grow its business further. I hope to keep collecting this counter (when I have enough money to go in again) as it dips further, and when the perception on China properties change, and when they see how much this company has grown... Whoopa..! I guess I'm just stubbonly confident. Anyone pl feel free to prove me wrong.
you're right " never say never" ,  only time  can prove that there is no scandal... and  i hope all is well, then a  privatisation bid is viable, i can still remember china companies like  landwind  (medical device)  and sihuan (pharmaceutical) go private.... and most recently - sinomem (water treatment)... i had bought all 3 before but    i sold off sinomem and sihuan before the privatosation offer (kinda regreted it)....

This one finally break and break into selling zone of no return.
I will wait for you below $1
I will buy at all cost when it hit 80cents.
I will wait till my neck grows.
It is ok as long as it takes.
Never say it is impossible. lai liao
Thanks ...
CEO is China born now Singaporean and current chinese chamber chair or something rt?
Yanlord shot up to $4 in the 07 frenzy bef plunging to  0.9+ in the aftermath ... highest 2.8+ in 09 then now 1.3... hmm
If the book balance is healthy (need to do some homewk on this), if the shares are trading at big discounts to their book values, then taking the firm private by the controlling shareholder ... one day ... soon ...at big premiums ...  lol
Ahh all these 'ifs', ya got carried away by the recent Allgreen pv bit & MCL Land last yr ...
Imaginations lead to fruition. Never say never ...

i think its bad sentiments nw on china property, even capland is not spared, yanlord kinda broke key support of  $1.35 yesterday :( and i have 10lots at $1.48... but in terms of fundamentals, yanlord is pretty decent, has been listed 5 years and its a big counter with no scandals....
Wow, since when? all the way down the silppery slope .... I am out of touch with this babe for a long while ... nothing wrong I hope?
Bought 1.33.
Good thing about yanlord is that in their presentation, they have pre-sales receipts and pre-sales pending collection, which kinda forecasts the next few quaters results too.
this is a no brainer, no need to think, P/E = buy....loaded a few zeros. Watch this one, profit < > price, very unjust, once mutual fund sees this....whoopa
1st quarter result quite good, will continue my small collection.
Seems yanlord may have bottomed at around current price perhaps?
BTW, XD coming 16th may.....
thru my analysis, it will hit 1.31.....
just sharing...... :)
does it matter? i anticipate it will become weaker over this week, it does happen so far. will it hit 1.35 the next few days? i guess this will be a stronger support. i set my exit for my short at 1.36. let see if it will happen.

that means your anticipation in your earlier post that it will hover between 1.42 to1.51 is wrong!

There is no right or wrong. there is only anticipation. Yanlord has been weak for weeks. my anticipation is it will become weaker. The broke of 1.42 shows that it will go even weaker for the short term. cheers!

yanlord broke thru 1.42 so easily in late morning.
