the fengshui master I met today told me, in business fengshui, anything facing north,west and south is no good. anything facing east is good because sun rises in the east. he oso said the sand at marina will face lot of problems from construction stage to operation stage. Truth enough, they face sand problem, budget overblown due to many thing happening durng construction stage. He said the casino roof top should be free from things like human traffic, garden and water. If the roof top contain garden and water, the casino business will be affected because of bad chi. I asked him about genting, he said genting is smart, they build their malaysia casino on the mountain, business is so good that they earned enough money to enable them to build singapore IR, I asked him about singapore IR, he said ..........

A fengshui master told me this morning, he said sentosa is not a good place for casino and I asked him to give me reasons. He said sentosa malay name is pulau blakang mati, pulau=island, blakang = behind, mati=died, the island behind the death. He said anything to do with the word death, avoid it to attract bad omen. He said fantasy island business was good initially and died off after sometime and same goes to other attractions, he also mention whoever wish to do business in sentosa, his ba zhi must be very solid or he will fail badly in his business. I told him I invest heavily in gentng share and genting is building IR in sentosa, do you want to know what he told me ....
I notice during week day, many kopitiam tune in to share market and you can see ah pek, ah soh, kopi soh and hawkers cursing at the monitor when the share fall. Once, during my mc, I try to tune in channel 8 in a kopitiam and one ah pek come to me and said , siow lian eh, mia lee siow siow and he tune it back.
Sometime when the share fall, you order kopi they give you milo and you order duck rice they give you chicken, you order meepok they give you kolopok, this show that share can affect the emotion of one self greatly. If you feel you are emotional, it is time you may wish to see a doctor, there are good doctors in Raffles Medical and you may wish to invest in this hospital when the market is more stable, this hospital is profitable and has good business plan.

ideasa168, when usa market collapse last friday, how good the counter is will fall this monday. The fall from dow is not 50 pts but is over 200 pts. I think the bbs recently sell off their mothershare and go for the right issue, their objective is to push the market down and squeeze the sb to let go their right to them. during the interim before sept 18, they will try to push up the share to above 70 cents and target at 80 cents after mr berenake and bush comment. Now the situation had change, the dow fall over 200 pts, bin laden trade - someone put billion dollar on put option and the up swing of unemployment rate in usa.
Those ah peh maybe right, as chinese say, the older the ginger, the stronger it is.
Genting might Face some selling pressure from dow fall and massive right issue, lots of people worry that excess right might lead it to fall below 60 cents. But are you the one going to sell below the price of the right you buy! I am waiting to buy some more if Genting fall below 60 cents.....my main worry is IR do not have enought hotel room for its customers when it open....1800 rooms only, 1800* 2 people*$1000 spend*365 days, just the hotel is able to generate that much per year it hotel guest only.Hope Genting can open some more budget hotel for it customer in the main land. Willing to spend more money for Genting 2010. Buy Genting for 2010.

Pension...you sound to me you are confused and lost of confidence in the mkt. Just 2 days ago, you said "gha gha bua" means calling to buy without fear, and today after the DOW's yesterday drop you wanted to stay sideline. I think you had listened too much from the kopitiam gossips...lol! I would suggest you go Botanic Garden for a walk, relax a little tomorrw, so that you get back your confidence on Monday...FYI, I am not fearful of Monday trading even though DOW Friday dropped 230 pts. I see it as investors pressurising the FED to cut rate. I am not surprise STI closes in the +ve slightly.

Its not what they said or if we support Genting.
People trade differently. Some by TA, some FA, some listen to Wind, others turn to the moon or stars, etc.
I'm sure u have your ways & principles to trade & invest.
If u tell Ah Peks & Ah Sohs they might not last long to reap profits, u might end up with a few French fries on your face...
If I say tomorrow will have a broad-base profit takings & am right, are u treating me dinner & call me sifu too?
